Our house is an old stucco classic colonial built in 1928. It has many issues, but we were under some duress to get specific issues fixed before the onset of cold weather. Ed came out and had a quick, but sharp-eyed view of some issues that would improve energy performance and gave a complete picture of what could be done cost-effectively in our hall bath.
We set up the appointment for the following day, and he and his partner Kevin came out early and on time, not a usual practice in the contracting trade. They methodically went about their work, kept me informed of progress, unforeseen issues, and answered all my questions. The mold removal and tile regrouting was very difficult, as I recognized and there was no choice for us but to get it done that day. Ed and Kevin made the bath look like new, and they added some little touches that I hadn't contemplated.
The pricing was very fair, and the cleanup was perfect. From the many questions I asked Ed and Kevin, I can see their experience, eye for detail, and commitment to doing the job right. I plan to use them again, and I would recommend a conversation with Ed as you contemplate a project, especially in an older home. You will get the straight story, without upselling and suggestions for needless work.

I had cabinets that were coming away from the wall and needed to be resecured. Ed quoted me $350 to remount them. I thought the price was fine. After the job was done, he told me he didn't have to remove them first, and only charged me $150. He was perfectly professional from start to finish and I will definitely use him again.

I contacted Ed Weimar on a Friday about helping us with our bathroom renovation. He called me back the same day and we set up an estimate for the next day. His estimate was excellent and he is so personable and honest that he was our clear choice. Ed was very accommodating with the time frame of our renovations, as we were also reglazing our tub and tiles through another company. He came on a Monday morning right on time and worked on prepping and painting the bathroom. Then, he returned on Friday after the glaze in the bathroom had dried to finish the rest of the work. We ran across a few complications that day, and Ed stayed until almost 7:00 to finish the work. I highly recommend Ed because of his punctuality, warm and friendly personality, and the high quality of his work. We will definitely be calling him again!

He did an excellent job. He is very straightforward and gives you honest answers. He comes on time. He told us how to clean the shower in the future and to call him if we had any problems (we didn't). We called him recently about another bathroom and he gave us all the options for improving it, and recommended that we reglaze the tiles instead of his regrouting them. I highly recommend him.

Ed is extremely reliable, trustworthy, inexpensive, appreciative and competent. I call him before I do anything on my house to see whether he can do it and for recommendations if he can't. His recommendations for major roof work and landscaping have also been terrific. My wife wants him to move in with us, just to have him around.
