We hired Abraham to paint our babies' nursery. He gave us a good price and was available quickly so we went with him. First the good- he was polite and courteous, and arrived on time. I felt very comfortable with him in my home. He left the room neat and he cleaned up after himself, and when we mentioned we wanted him to go over a spot once more before he left, he was happy to do so. The not so good- first he mentioned that he didn't have enough painter's tape for the job when he saw the room. My husband had to run out to get additional primer anyway, but he also purchased a new roll of painter's tape while at the store so Abraham could continue painting. While a roll of tape isn't by any means expensive, Abraham took it with him when he completed the job which we thought was weird- I would have expected him to leave it with us. The painting job was just ok. the walls look fine but the closet doors and some trim areas (which needed priming and white paint) definitely appear to need another coat b/c it looks a bit streaky. There are a few spots around the trim where you can see the white trim paint that got on the gray walls as well. I don't think his primary skill is painting, and he certainly did a better job than we could have done and he finished in a day, but if you are looking for a crisp and professional painter, we would say to go elsewhere. Overall nice guy, but average results on a paint job.
