The project came out better than we could have imagined. Mat was great with keeping us informed on scheduling and inspections and completed the job in time .

The quality of the work was very good. They were very tidy and polite. They arrived when they said they would. They are very nice guys. I guess I had a few more items for them to do, but they had to move on to another job. That is something they could improve upon. They were here for about three days. They charge on an hourly basis and that was nice because I knew that they were here for that period of time and how much it was going to be. There were no surprises. I am trying to get them here again.

Mat was very helpful through out the entire process. He made suggestions on material, style and cost. He was very professional. He has unbelievable attention to detail. He was very reasonable with prices and was clear on any extra cost. All the people that work for Mat were always very professional and courteous. He is very knowledgeable about anything that has to do with home improvement. He strives to make the customer happy. I would highly recommend My Home Service for any home remodeling project.

OUTSTANDING service. Mat is professional and courteous. He offers his guidance and suggestions during the process; he does his work with a smile. His team is also professional and courteous. A small team of three including Mat. He uses specializt for flooring or plumbing or electical work. I liked all of them -- especially the plumber and flooring guys. I have/we have heard SO MANY NIGHTMARE stories about remodeling. I did my work -- interviewed 2-3 contractors; connected with a few others by phone. But decided to with Mat even though he was about ~ 20% more than the lowest bid; I am price sensitive person and look for value -- still decided to go with my gut and my wife and i are happy. I would recommend him without reserrvations... Communicate clearly and make your expectations CLEAR - both what is needed and your approach/philosophy. Mat will work with you.

My husband and I contracted with My Home Service for a complete home renovation. My husband did all the research and then we met with Matt several times before we made the decision to go ahead with My Home Service. This was an extensive renovation we had to vacate the property and lived elsewhere for 4 Months. I was very nervous about the whole process. We had heard so many horror stories about renovations gone wrong. Matt was very specific in his contract and navigated the entire process for us. The suggestions and recommendations we received throughout the renovation were very helpful. While My Home Service was not the least expensive contractor they certainly were the best choice for us. The workmanship and professionalism were well worth the costs involved. Milton was a pleasure to deal with always polite and the property was always neat and orderly. We would certainly recommend Matt and My Home Service to anyone looking for a trustworthy and highly skilled Contractor.

Mat has done numerous jobs in my home since March 2001. He is an ultimate professional who is ethical, detail oriented, and prompt. Once the job starts, he is there early every day, and cleans up the job site daily. Mat will also not hesitate to offer his opinion on design elements which is extremely helpful in the decision making process. Both Mat and Milton are men of outstanding character who are beyond reproach. I highly recommend Mat and My Home Service very highly.

The work they did was fantastic. What impressed us from the beginning was that Mat was very proactive in setting up an appointment with us, extremely responsive to our calls and requests for a quote, and when he wrote up his quote for the job, it was clearly itemized and easy to understand in great detail exactly what the scope of work included. Compared to the other contractors quotes we received, Mat's was by far the most professional and user-friendly. He gave us very clear, honest advice on what to do in our home, even if it meant that he would charge us less by giving us tips to either do simple things our best of explore other cost savings. He was respectful of our budget and didn't pressure us into things that we didn't need. What also impressed us was that Mat and his crew always showed up right on time, and the project started exactly when he said it would, and finished on the date he said it would finish. There were no mysterious cost or time over-runs, and they were extremely efficient. Mat was available to us for questions at any time day or night, and was almost fatherly in his advice to us throughout the time we worked together. We felt we could trust his opinions and judgement and that he really cared about giving us what we needed and not over or under doing it. The work itself is of extremely high quality. The floors look beautiful and the new room he created for us is exactly what we were looking for. He cares deeply about the quality of the work and didn't want to do anything that would cheapen that quality. He pays attention to detail and doesn't cut corners. After they were finished, our house was clean and move-in ready. Overall, working with Mat is an excellent experience and is highly recommended!

We can't say enough good things about My Home Service and the job they did!!! We highly recommend them for small and big renovation jobs. The work was high quality and we are very happy with the results. During the work, the workmen were always very neat, polite, timely and trustworthy. Communications were always prompt and clear. There was never any difficulty with pricing or billing. Since we finished the initial renovation, we have reengaged My Home Service for additional work and have continued to be pleased with the quality of the services. We get lots of compliments from visitors about our house renovation.

We too love My Home Service. Having worked with Mat before, we didn't competitively bid the job -- we knew who we wanted to work with. Mat gave us a complete and fairly priced estimate. Mat is a little more expensive, but it is worth the freedom that comes from knowing that the work will be done right and that everything will be clean and safe at the end of every day. Mat and Milton are perfectionists. Case in point...the marble floor tiles arrived chipped. Mat went through every box, isolated all the chipped tiles, brought them to the tile store. Worked through all the boxes of tile they had at the store to obtain the number of perfect tiles we needed. The ceramic, marble and glass tile shower enclosure was executed flawlessly. Mat is also good at talking the customer off the ledge. When those marble tiles were installed over several days, we noticed drastic differences in color. We were afraid the new tiles had come from a different lot. Pulling them up would have required destroying the radiant heat mat. Milton was convinced that it was just the absorption of water that made the tiles look so different. Mat and Milton demonstrated how that was the case and we all relaxed. Our city building codes are onerous and basically force a contractor to use subcontractors to do plumbing and electrical. Mat's subs were first rate. More importantly, Mat made sure that their work was done to his (and our) satisfaction. We also rely on Mat for his advice. He has an eye for how things should go and is ready to express his opinion. We have been delighted at how he formulates choices for us to make from appropriate and available options. Sometimes those decisions carry costs and these are discussed up front so that they can be part of the decision making process. While renovation always involves drama outside the control of the contractor, working with Mat makes the process as close as you can get to "no surprises".

We didn't know who to ask for help when our tiled bathroom stall sprung a mysterious leak. Do we call a plumber? A carpenter? A tile guy? A mover? So we called My Home Service, a home remodeling company that does it all, and we were glad that we did. From the first time he visited us through the end of the job, we knew were in good hands with Mat. His good humor, years of experience, high quality standards, and excellent taste helped us through an emergency re-model, replacing a seriously damaged shower with something much better. The situation was one of those homeowner nightmares: We didn't really know what was wrong, but we did know that tile was not supposed actually sag down the wall...so we hired Mat for two days just to investigate. What he discovered is that a previous fix to the shower had allowed water to seep in behind all of the walls...the whole thing had to replaced. His joking conclusion (in early December) was that he'd be able to finish "by Easter," but he was actually he was able to do a complete renovation in less than a month. There were so many jobs that had to be done: carpentry, framing, tiling, light plumbing, painting, wiring...and Mat and his two excellent helpers did them all. Mat even made it fun by going with me to the plumbing supply and tile store to get the fixtures and tile that were both cost-effective and great looking. I learned that in addition to knowing his trades, Mat has a great sense of design and understood what would work with my own somewhat quirky taste and decor. During the three-plus weeks they were with us, the guys arrived promptly every day and started by laying down protective drop cloths. At the end of each day, they cleaned up so that we were able to live somewhat normally during the work. When the work was done, we had the custom shower that we'd really wanted all along. Although we spent much more than originally planned, the quality of the work will certainly add value to the house. Communication was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend My Home Service.

You will love My Home Service because not only do they do such beautiful and professional work, but they are good people! MAt and his crew are kind, thoughtful, and even funny! But even more important they are extremely trustworthy!!! Furthermore, the estimates given before the job were spot on. Unless there was an unforeseen problem Mat's proposed cost was what I paid. You will really love having them work for you!

I have had many contractors in my home over the 18 years I have lived here. Some of the jobs have been small ones and others extensive. My home is an older one and although all the changes I have made are cosmetic, they have made my living here so much more enjoyable. I have never had a contractor, or his men, in my home who have been as neat, clean respectful and helpful as those from "My Home Service". Not only did they treat my home as their own, the owner, Mat, gave me many invaluable suggestions and ideas on what styles and types of cabinets and appliances to buy. He also went with me personally and sat with the cabinet representative to design my layout in the space I had available. I would absolutely recommend "My Home Service" to anyone who was looking for a contractor. In my home, I would never use anyone else no matter how small or how large the job was.
