Very well. They sent emails ahead to introduce the service person, with photo, so you would know who to expect. He reviewed what he was there for, reiterated that the price quoted was per unit, and he went to work. He gave us a quote to charge the one failing unit and another quote to replace the unit.

When called to repair the old furnace, they came several times, always claiming it was a different part to fix. They never had parts in stock; therefore having to return another day. After replacing 85% of the old furnace, claiming the board was shot and recommending a new furnace. $4300 later. They install a new furnace in January. Four months later, they have to return because a part has gone on the new furnace. They again don’t have a part in stock and have to order it which would require us to be in a cold house for two days waiting. The next morning, I make calls to the manufacturer and find the part myself at the manufacturer right down the street and I have to beg them to go and get it and fix the furnace that day instead of waiting another 24 hours. Their Service plan is a joke. They don’t provide timely service. They are also expensive. In total between service plans and service calls, I have paid over $5500 and I have no idea if the furnace will last. Never use the, again and never recommend them even to my enemies.

Highest quality of professionalism and customer service. I contact MIC thru Angies List and they immediately responded to my questions. My service call was scheduled very quickly and for that same week. I was very happy to receive their email and text reminders, which shows their attention to detail and customer focus. They also provided a text reminder the morning of the appointment with a photo and background of the technician that would be coming (excellent security!). Alex and Mario arrived just a few minutes a head of schedule and promptly went to work. They are clearly experts in their field. After reviewing the HVAC, tweaking here and there, replacing the filter, testing the AC, etc. Alex pointed out a part that was wearing out on the heating unit (which is 15 years old or so), made a few suggestions on how to remediate, and communicated what I could expect from each solution he suggested. He also provided the individual estimated cost for each option which was really appreciated. We are proceeding with one of the solutions and signed up for their yearly contract at $175 which includes priority service on emergency calls and a discount on any parts, needed throughout the year. We did receive quotes that were cheaper than MIC but their professionalism, customer service and HVAC knowledge makes it clear that if there's ever a problem with the heat or the AC, they can be counted on to come and address the problem immediately.

Tech came to the house and tested but no heat came on. tried to drain air out of the radiator for a a couple of minutes but still no heat. Tech determined that he would have to remove the floor to see if piping was installed correctly. I told him that was not happening. I signed his work order for the service call and a was charged the site visit service fee. The next day I drained the radiator myself of the air for 20 minutes and then the heat started to work and has been consistently still working. I called back Maximum indoor comfort and explained what I did and they professionally agreed to return the service call fee for not diagnosing the problem correctly. This showed they are a responsible business and trustworthy to do business with.

They could not repair the issues we've had with our frozen pipe last winter. Misdiagnosed the issue and charged us for the visit anyway. Refused to help even when we had an idea of what the problem was. Rude and obnoxious, small staff without the proficiency and skill needed. Bad attitude and lack of customer care. Would not recommend or hire again.

Mario (technician) showed up earlier than expected as he was already in my area. Arrived 9:30am, performed air conditioner servicing (checked & inspected evaporator coil, replaced filter which I already had, checked all electrical work & blower area, cleaned drain line, checked & inspected AC condenser & checked refrigerant level. Finished job 10:45am. I found out after the job was completed that although I "claimed the deal", my credit card was not charged. So, I had to pay Mario directly by credit card. Sales tax was also charged, which was new to me. Mario was polite, professional and well spoken.

At 3;30 pm the technician from Maximum indoor Comfort arrived. The system was blowing hot air the techinician said the problem was we needed freon so he replaced it at a cost of over $600. we went out to dinner came back at 8:00pm and the system was still blowing out hot air. We have been calling the 24 hour number and no one is answering. I called my credit card co. to stop payment. So much for Angies list

My gardener cut the cable to my ductless AC unit on Wednesday. I called Maximum and they came promptly, said I had to get an electrician to repair the cut cable. I did that on Thursday but the AC still didn't work. All the external fuses and breakers were OK. Called Maximum and again they came on Friday, opened the outside unit and found it had blown fuses. They made a temporary replacement but said they wanted to use the manufacturer recommended fuse. I had limited AC over the weekend and they came on Monday and put in the correct fuse. Great service.

I originally purchased a one-year maintenance deal for our Central AC/Heat units, and resulting from that contracted MIC to repair the units as they broke. Initially, they seemed nice enough, cleaned the units. However, eventually a part broke, and the tech recommended to change other parts as well. I only wanted to have the broken part replaced though, and specifically told the tech to only fix the broken part and leave the rest alone. Another tech arrived and when I checked back with them, they also replaced the other parts, presenting me with a bill of of over $2,100 instead of ‘just’ $700. My husband was at work, and I was alone at home with my three kids of 5 years and younger, it was at this point after 5pm and I really did not have much capacity to deal with anything besides getting the day over with. However, the tech insisted on payment. I understand that and told him I could pay him the original $700 and we’ll have to discuss the rest tomorrow, as I plain wasn’t expecting this expense and don’t have the money. The tech would not leave my house, kept standing in my hallway and said they would have to ‘rip off all the parts they installed’. I called my husband, he offered to call the police. I didn’t want to go down that road. After another 1.5 hours the tech’s manager offered a compromise we could live with and could pay. Now the system is broken again. I called them up, took me several hours to get anyone on the phone, but they said they don’t service us anymore due to some billing dispute. Which is fine by me (there are plenty of other companies around), but I don’t get it from their perspective. The manager offered a compromise, so they were the ones settling the dispute. Whatever.... I am doing anything but recommending them....

"Mrs. WiebkeI, I like to clear a few erroneous comments. We performed a "no heat" emergency service on 12/4/17 in which we recommended some parts to be replaced. You agreed to the listed pricing on our book and we proceeded with the repairs. After we completed the work and tested your heating system, we presented you with the bill. At the moment you called your husband and he insisted the cost was too high. You then told our technician to hold on until your husband speaks to someone from our office. After a long conversation on the phone with your husband and he's refusal to pay for the work, we decided it was best to cut our loses and accepted a partial payment from you. After the unpleasant experience our company decided it was best to part ways and not renew your service contract."
