We had the marble floors polished in 6 rooms (foyer & 5 bathrooms). The results were fantastic. The floors have never looked so good in the nearly 20 years in our home. My wife is very pleased,...which is a high standard. It only took two days and John was in regular contact regarding his schedule and provided updated pictures before and after.

John did an excellent job restoring a marble top table. Communication was good before and throughout the completion of the job. John was very careful to ascertain the type of material he was going to be working with before starting. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the work. John, the owner, is a pleasure to work with! He called me back in a timely manner, always kind. Charged a very reasonable rate when I compared pricing to others I got quotes from. He sent Connor over a few days later to restore a stained and scratched marble countertop. Came right on time. Friendly and a hard worker. My husband and I are very picky about results and Connor and John did everything they said they would. The carrera marble kitchen island counter now looks great. I will recommend them to friends.

John and his employee Conner are very nice people. We hired them to do two projects, one in the city and one upstate, within the same time frame. There were problems with the work and though they returned to correct the issues in both homes, the results remain sub-par. I was assured that the city grout, which was customized to match the tile, would remain intact. In one bathroom the color was lifted in multiple areas and in the second, grout is now missing. There are spots on the tile surface. In the country, the grout was to be cleaned and sealed. Within a couple of weeks the color has darkened unevenly. Other professionals have come in to consult and in each home, without prompting, they commented on the poor quality and sloppiness of the work.After paying $3100, I am in no position to afford to have the job redone which is what the consultants recommended. I am so distressed and disappointed. Susan S. 08/05/2019 Update John was unresponsive to our distress about the poor quality of work. HomeAdvisor was unable to contact him so urged us to seek mediation at their expense. We supplied 23 pictures. When the mediation took place on a Monday (Skype) John was in Europe. He told the judge that he had regrouted when in fact he had put some grout over the original discolored grout. He said he was not interested in keeping our $ and would give us a full refund. He said he would call us on Thursday when home. He never called. After 2 weeks we phone him twice. He accused us of using photos that were pre rather than post job. He said he was waiting for new checks would send one out the following Wednesday. We agreed to withdraw our negative review in exchange for a full refund. 2 weeks later we emailed him saying apparently you are not a man of your word. He was furious. felt that was insulting. In the meantime the judge ruled in our favor awarding us $1700 of the $3100. Several weeks later we received a check for $1700 from john. we emailed wondering why he had not given us the rest as promised, he responded that he decided to give us a partial return because we were so nasty. Buyer Beware.

On time and so pleasant to work with. Could not have been more pleased and will recommend them to others in the future.

JMC is an excellent company to work with. I needed my stone kitchen countertops resurfaced and then resealed. John returned my email request within hours. By just sending him pictures of my countertops he quickly assessed what type of stone I had and gave me an estimate that day. The work was done by Connor who is also very good to work with and shows you what needs to be done for on-going maintenance. I am recommending JMC to other friends and definitely will work with them in the future.

Many had told me the stone (marble) was far too damaged to restore. After speaking with John he gave me hope that the marble could be restored. It appeared that perhaps some cleaning solvent was applied to two bathroom floors. The floor was absolutely disgusting. It was so bothersome that the marble was destroyed. I had faith that John and his team could salvage the marble and make it look better. They did an amazing job!! Beyond my expectations! I shared before and after pictures with others and they were in awe.. John and his staff were straight -forward, responsive, professional and very thorough. John did an exceptional job repairing my Quartz countertop. I sprayed a cleaner on it that I shouldn't have and totally damaged a portion of it. My counter went from an eye sore to the beautiful piece of Quartz it started off as. I would highly recommend John to anyone who has high-end stone and is worried about maintaining the quality. He and his team showed up on time, couldn't have been friendlier and made sure to tidy up after they finished. Thank you John!

Honestly, when I had John first come into my home, I was still speaking with other vendors - I'd never heard of him or JMC. But after I met him, I trusted him to get the job done well. He pointed out details that needed to be addressed that even I hadn't caught. After having him do the work in my home, I'm so glad that I chose him. Everything he touched turned to clean!
