They responded within 2 hours of me requesting a quote. We scheduled a date and time for a walk through. On the day of the walk through, I never got a call and no one showed up. Very disappointing experience.

Matt arrived on time and spent a full day to complete all installations and to ensure correct fit and operation in our 1930 house. He was very communicative and answered every concern we had so the doors not only look good but work well.

It went very well. He is a pleasure to work with. He is prompt and very very clean. They take out the trash regularly and vacuume. We originally had him remodel a bathroom and he did such a good job we asked him to do the bedroom. He is a good communicator and he always gets back to me in a timely manner.

Ernie personally supervised the work, recommended suppliers from where we could get the required materials, after sitting with us and discussing what the work would entail and what would be needed. He provided us with a written quote which we approved before the work commenced.Ernie knows all the local suppliers and they give good advice and a discount on purchases. As both my wife and I work it was not possible for anyone to be at home. No worries. We gave Ernie a set of keys and his men could thereby come and leave as required. This would only be possible if his men were totally trustworthy, and they are. By the time we returned home from work, the men had cleaned up and there was no inconvenience to us.Our completed bathroom exceeded all our expectations and is truly a thing of beauty. The same applies to the kitchen where the ceiling has been done so well that it is impossible to tell where the damage was. Similarly the kitchen floor was ripped up and relaid very competently. We would unhesitatingly recommend Ernie to anyone looking to get great work done speedily and efficiently to a high standard of quality. The process and the completed work exceeded my most optimistic expectations. If you're reading this review, I assume you're in the same position I was in last year: you have a construction/renovation project and no idea who to hire. Well, today's your lucky day. You've found Ernie of EH & Sons! I had never heard of him either until a couple told me how pleased they were with the work done in their apartment. I was very impressed when they showed it to me, so I met with Ernie the following week. Confession-------I am a skeptic by nature, especially when it comes to trusting service providers. But I immediately found Ernie to be very capable, professional, and responsive to my needs. He got back to me the following day with a detailed plan how to renovate a space which was out of date and in poor condition. We negotiated a price and signed an agreement to perform the work. He had great ideas and suggestions, but always deferred to me on what work would be performed. His crew arrived promptly on the agreed upon date, and worked tirelessly over the course of that month. They were always professional, polite, and thorough. Ernie always was in touch with me discuss work progress and answer my questions or concerns. When problems arose like the need to reroute a gas line during the kitchen renovation, he brought in another licensed expert to do it. But at no time did he ever try to renegotiate the agreed on price or scope of the work. A few times I walked onto the site unannounced, and the crew was always hard at work, on one occasion installing a sub-floor in the new kitchen. The transformation of the old bathroom and kitchen was amazing, functional, and beautiful. They restored the wood floors, repaired the windows, painted the walls, installed new countertops, all new appliances and lighting, and even put new blinds up for the windows. When I finally put the apartment on the market, I had a buyer within hours. Look, I could go on and on about the work, but the bottom line is this------do yourself a favor and consider EH & Sons for your next project. Very well. The staff is very skilled. They are professional, punctual and very trustworthy. Top of the line! I intend to update closet doors and install a couple of closet organizers so I will be calling them again. I highly recommend EH&Sons.
