 + -1 moreMr. Devaney was an absolute dream to work with. Polite, trustworthy, hardworking, punctual from start to finish. Moreover, he is an expert when it comes to hardwood floors and will highlight potential problem areas up front. We had a very short time frame in which to complete the work and Mr. Devaney completed the job within two days of his initial estimate; he also gave us updates on an almost daily basis. Within a day of signing the contract, Mr. Devaney had the new hardwood planks delivered to our apartment so that they could acclimatize. His crew proceeded to remove the old floor and sub-floor and install the new sub-floor etc. They took great care to level the new hardwood floor with our existing kitchen floor and bolster the sub-floor in patches of softness. He takes great pride in his work and it shows in the finished product. He is extremely meticulous and his crew did a great job cleaning up after the project.
Description of Work: Vincent Devaney removed an existing hardwood floor, plank subfloor and baseboards. He installed a new plywood sub-floor, soundproofing and 4'' solid oak unfinished wood floor (in approx. 900 sq. ft. of our apartment). He also finished the wood floor on site with two coats of sealer and three of water-based poly. In addition, he installed new baseboards throughout the apartment. (The apartment was not occupied during the work.)
