They are very good at their work. They always give me wonderful service and are very responsive to my needs. They are a bit more expensive than other companies in the area, but they are very responsible, honest, and will go that extra mile to make sure that they are giving you good service.

There was a slight delay in getting them to the site because of weather; however, when they arrived they worked quickly, efficiently and cleanly.  They were the only contractors willing to work in the low clearance of the porch without cutting into the porch.  Their estimate was the best one received and involved no residual damage.  They were very careful to view the video of the drain to be certain their work corrected the problem.  When they left, it was almost impossible to know any excavation had been done to the landscape.  We cannot say enough about how well they do their job.

C. Commisso & Sons is a third generation, family owned and operated small business.  They are highly regarded locally by both municipal authorities, fellow contractors and former customers.  I was very impressed by their attention to safety.  Their traffic control (cones) and signage was clear and appropriate.  The excavation itself was carefully done with a small backhoe at first and then hand digging as they neared the pipes.  More importantly, the hole was braced against cave in with a system of shoring consisting of beams and metal wales.  The site was kept clean and materials were neatly stored overnight.  The job was completed in just two days.
   Two-way communication with one of the owners was fine.  Not only was their bid price very competitive, but there were no nickel-and-dime extras.  In terms of honesty, they are excellent: when the municipality waived the permit fee, that savings was passed on to me.  I would not hesitate to recommend C. Commisso and Sons to anyone.
