The garbage disposal came loose and leaked. I had another vendor repair it. Two of the three bolts that are supposed to connect the disposal to the sink were never installed. I had noticed that when Bribitzer's plumber was here but I figured that there were extra parts that came with the disposal. Luckily I did not throw out the bolts, so the repair took less than 30 minutes. But it added $100 to the cost of an already costly installation.

They charged me $685/hour! Here are the details. I used them a few times. The last time I did not ask the price, assuming they would charge a fair price. They installed a kitchen garbage disposal that I supplied, so all they charged for was labor. They charged $515 for 45 minutest of work. That comes to $685/hour. On another job they did for me they gave a low price for the work but said if there was anything extra do do they would charge at some ridiculously high rate. Sure enough, there was extra to do. So perhaps I should have seen it coming. On the positive side, they came quickly and did the work well.
