I came in for a Tire Rotation and was out in 15 minutes or so. I even got a lunch sandwich! They tell you a realistic "wait time" or service time...they won't keep you hanging around. They are always reliable, honest and reasonably priced for their tires. They don't "price gouge" you. Over a year ago, I had gotten a nail stuck in one of my tires when I was overnight at friends house. They noticed the leak and I went to a nearby Tire store. I was told the leak was not reparable and they started to write an invoice for me to buy a new (unmatching) tire for over $200, without even discussing it with me.. I told them, no thanks, I would take the car to the people who sold me my tires, please put the donut on the wheel, and I left. The next day, I went to American Tire. They not only repaired that hole, but another they found in the same tire. I have been driving on that patched tire, back and forth twice from New York to Michigan (750+miles) and throughout the Tri-State area with absolutely no problems for nearly two years. You need to have them, and only them, put a plug in your tire. They have the best brand of plugs that the other repair shops won't spend the money for. Ask them about their plugs. Their plug is the best. I thinki, how it works is that it melds with the tire, becoming part of the fabric of the tire, but ask them. All I know their plug repair is extremely safe and probably costs around the same you pay for an inferior plug put in by other tire stores. American Tire is a family-owned business and they stand by their name and their products. It isn't often you can come in with a problem, have it looked at and then be told, "no charge", even if they did a quick fix for you. They aren't there just for the money! Great job! Being a Honda Civic, access to the alternator is terrible so it took them a little longer to do it than they thought. However, labor cost was very reasonable. Car works fine now. I have used American Tire for all my oil changes, brakes and tires for over 6 years and have never been disappointed with their service or price. Tom, Chuck and Tim are great guys to work with.
