They rebuilt my old oil burner chamber(lasted another 20 yrs). Bought water heater at same time (lasted 20 years}. . Old one was about 50 yrs old. Only 85% happy with it. Bought new oil burner 3 years ago. Little noisy and does not produce good heat. Am calling them this week to work it out. Thinking of installing a generator.

The installation and propane tank install went well. The issue has to do with customer service. i specifically asked for a 100 lbs. tank and Petro installed a 420lbs. tank without consultation or explanation. I called and asked an appointment to have the correct size delivered and someone at the company said someone would be in touch with me. No one called me, so I decided to call again and a woman took my call and told me that it was Petro's preference to deliver the 420lbs, tank regardless of my request. She said most customer's that use propane for their hot-water and stove-top use an excessive amount of fuel. I told her that this is not the case at my home. We have an energy rated tankless water heater and noting else so I would prefer a smaller tank, a 100lbs. tank. I also wanted a smaller tank due to the fine print in the contract which has a stipulation regarding use... if you do not use a certain amount of propane in a certain amount of time, there will be an added charge. Initially, I knew that this might be the case, as it is with many fuel service provider companies. I explained this to the lady and she still refused to make an appointment to change out the tank, although she promised to waive any fees incurred based on lack of use. Fortunately, this is the case, although at any time some could uphold the contract and charge me fees if they wanted to because I signed a contract albeit for the installation for a smaller tank. What a horrible way for Petro to do business. I complained that their business practices were unscrupulous and misleading and got nowhere!
