They seem very nice, but there's no point showing them as an option for Montauk firewood delivery. They are far from Montauk, and accordingly their delivery fees to Montauk are prohibitively expensive. There are closer options.

Great contractor. Courteous and considerate workers. Great value, will definitely use again in future as well as firewood delivery.

I went to the web site for this provider to review their products. According to the web site in late 2015, they advertised their firewood as being even length cut and kiln dried. When the wood arrived, it was completely random lengths, and most was very gnarly and knotted, and splintered. Most of the wood was also coated in mud and stuck on gravel, like it had been sitting in mud or a swamp for several months. This wood was definitely NOT kiln dried, and it was filthy. The worst part has been actually burning it in our fireplace. Many times it smokes up our house very badly, and twice it has set off our fire alarms, which has set off our home security system and automatically alerted the local fire department. We had to allow them to enter the house and see for themselves there was no actual uncontrolled fire, and they eventually left. The price for what was claimed on the web site (nice, even cut, kiln dried wood) would have been great, but what we got was next to useless. We purchased two cords, and have decided to not even try to burn the last cord because of how bad it burns and smokes. Extremely disappointed in this firewood. Not sure if we just got a very bad load, or if other customers may have similar experiences.

Delivered seasoned firewood. Have a choice between < 6 month seasoned, and fully seasoned. Costed a bit more for fully seasoned, but it really was fully seasoned.

Were punctual price was a bit higher than places we used in the past but decent quality wood.

I called Long Island Firewood and Mulch and the called me right back. The delivered a very healthy cord of well seasoned wood. They were very professional, and friendly.

i placed an order for 1 cord of firewood on friday. Li firewood and mulch scheduled it for Saturday which was fine for me. I asked for an AM delivery and they said that was not a problem. Come Saturday a little after 9:15am ish, i received a call from Bob Jr. They sent a truck out and i had my wood by 10:30. prompt and easy to deal with. I had no problems burning the wood. its been about a month and i went through almost half. i plan on buying in the summer from them to get a better price!
