I was recommended to Don by a friend who was happy with his work. I got a quick appointment and Don arrived on time. He was extremely courteous and got to work right away, wasting no time. He charges by the hour (I forget exactly how much, but it's reasonable). There was a lot of trouble with the kitchen faucet installation because the box I bought from Home Depot had some parts missing. Don got on the phone with them and explained exactly what he needed and then made the trip to Home Depot to get the missing parts. (He did not charge for all the time he spent doing this for me!) He did a great job, was very neat, and left no mess. The prior work he did for me was equally proficient and for the amount of work he did, his charges were very reasonable. I called him a few days later to ask if he could make the water pressure in the shower a little stronger, because the new shower head I picked out had a water saver and I didn't realize how much it would affect the pressure. He came back to my house (to Holbrook from Yaphank) and adjusted it, without charging me. I expected to be charged since this was a preference of mine, not anything he did wrong, but he was nice enough not to charge. He is trustworthy and a very nice person who does great plumbing work, and I highly recommend him. He is also licensed and insured.
