They are very very professional.  They are honest and they will do whatever you are asking of them.

These guys were simply awesome.  We live in a 100+-year old house and our glass-enclosed side porch was leaning a lot.  These guys jacked it up in a day and started on a set of stairs on the other end of the house.  An unenclosed side porch had stairs that were too far gone.  These guys replaced it with top of the line materials and built the new steps well within a week.  They then started on our floating deck.  We have a side yard with a huge and very old pine tree that dominates it.  We wanted to use the space and realized our only chance was a floating deck.  These guys built it within a week.  The construction is amazingly solid and the attention to detail impeccable.  I just love the way they made the tree (3-4 feet in diameter) a part of the deck.  My husband pointed out how they rounded off all the deck boards. 
They are also great with the administrative stuff.  They were able to obtain building permits and inspections and still work within an unbelievable time frame (my prior experience with contractors was largely dominated by delays . . and any excuse would do).
While not inexpensive, Pember is a great value.  Our new stairs and porch will most likely outlive us. The work was done in an incredibly timely manner and exceeded our expectations.  Pember is my go-to place for future construction needs.
