had done work for us in the past (interior) which we had a few problems with, but they were addressed and except for a few minor things they were corrected. as far as Roof work it was never completed, work that was done was not done properly. In addition when they were here doing work as soon as owner left all work by crew would stop. They showed up late and left early most days. Left all debris from job in yard (clean up was included in the price of the job). Ruined carpet in one room (we replaced and were told that we would have taken off of bill) ruined other materials (and again we were told was to be taken off of bill and neither was done) We also seem to have a lot of "extra" material, and as the customer pays for the material up front, it seems as though extra is ordered in case they need to cover for their mistakes. Currently need to get ENTIRE roof replaced again as there are leaks all over. Not even repairable as metal was not cut properly in a lot of spots, install wrong and almost all trim work scratched/dented/cut wrong. Wish I would have checked Angie's List prior to this job being done. Do Your Research First, so that you do not have to go through what we (and apparently others on here) have gone through!!

When the work was about 85% complete he walked off of the job and would not complete the job until he was paid in full.  Further, he picked a fight with the building inspector that was unnecessary.  An independent inspection found that Mr. Feldmann did not replace windows with those he was paid for, the garage has major flaws that will catastrophic cause failure with in a few years, the fill for the driveway was never put in, so there is a 30 foot long hole where the drive should be, that is 14 feet deep;  the deck was not secured properly to the house,  outlets were replaced with  incorrect & overpriced ones.  He left the heating system in shambles, causing pipes to freeze 3 times and leaving us with no heat on below zero days.  Straight Line did not install the            agreed upon number, nor the correct outlets as per the plans.  The Spackle used was incorrect, & sloppily applied, cracking quickly.  Sub flooring was improperly installed, and not level. The final flooring was never put down.  The addition was added, but the foundation was never attached to the main house & the addition now is full of black mold, a bare 3 months after installation; and the roof leaks in multiple places. The siding was never replaced, I found Mr. Feldmann putting up the 30 year old insulation he was paid to replace while I had a receipt for new R-24 insulation.  The front porch was never started, the garage has no power, the hot tub leaks, and the roof  was never started, but now leaks where there was no leak.  Mr. Feldmann is a fast talker and poor workman.  He leaves jobs undone, does not return calls or texts and is now the cause for my county to require licensees for contractors.  He is an amateur who does not know what he is doing.  A 28 page inspection shows 25 life threatening contractor errors. While his crew did move personal belongings, many were broken or are missing.  A keepsake box that has my wedding ring and EMS pins and awards in it is missing in the disaster he left.  Run, do not walk, away from this contractor!

He made the roof the flat. He said if I made it the angle of the house I wouldn't be able to walk in it. When he put on the metal roof he didn't put any end caps on it. Now I have had ice 2 inches thick coming down the wall, I have had water coming under my door, and floods in the mud room. He has told me that he will fix the problems but never comes over to do it.
