ST REMI RENOVATIONS

Everything was done on time and to our satisfaction.

I just completed a several week renovation of an apartment in the West Village. My contractor, Lewis Eklund, was referred to me by a tile shop. From minute one, Lew responded promptly and courteously to each and every one of my calls. I was most impressed with his expert workmanship and attention to detail. He can do most any work, minus electrical and plumbing, and is a "one man band." I liked this especially since I do not like having a lot of people tramping in and out of my apartment. I found Lew to be very trustworthy and honest. He is quite expert and very knowledgeable in woodworking, cabinet making, faux painting and tiling. Though most contractors get irritated when alterations are made, Lewis' easy going attitude was a positive. Lew was not the neatest of contractors, yet despite this fact, I was most pleased with the work he did and will call upon him for future jobs. His work ethic of "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing well" is reflected in my finished job.
