My husband and I were both really impressed with how knowledgeable Danny was. He thoroughly examined our 18-year-old refrigerator, which we thought needed to be replaced, but he told us it did not need to yet even though it was now making loud noises. He also thoroughly examined our 16-year-old clothes dryer which was making a squeaking noise when it ran. He replaced the worn-out parts which were causing the squeaking (and which did need to be replaced), cleaned out lint and dirt from the interior, and oiled interior parts that needed it. He also checked the dryer exhaust for lint build-up. We also asked Danny about a noise our stove was making. He was efficient and polite. We will definitely use him again.

Extraordinary! Best service ever experienced. The dishwasher had a major leak ,and the dryer stopped tumbling, in the same week. I called D&M after reading reviews on Angies List. The diagnostic fee was quoted at $75 per appliance, reduced to $50 for two - other companies I'd used previously charged $85 to $100 just to walk in the door. But the really superb thing was quality of the work. Danny (a co-owner), removed the bottom panel of the dishwasher, turned the machine on and used his cell phone to take a video of what was happening underneath. He told me it didn't pay to fix it. Then he repaired the dryer, which needed new belts and cleaning behind the tumbler. He was meticulous, knowledgeable and articulate.

We had a great experience with Daniel from D&M, who's a very nice guy. He brought his own shoe covers and put them on before we even asked him to. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our dryer, fixed it, and then cleaned out the dryer vent. We'd definitely use them again.

Technician showed up even though there was a Nor'easter storm outside. He took the time to identify the problem. He replaced the heater element and a wheel and had all the parts to do the work; was able to complete the repairs in a couple of hours. Even took the time to clean out the vents. He was professional and courteous. He cleaned and vacuumed after he was finished.

He was a good, they were very responsive & very responsible guy; he diagnosed very correctly, i had one of my friend to fix my GE Microwave oven.

I have nothing but good things to say about D & M Appliance Repair. The positive experience began when one of the owners answered my phone call on Sunday of a recent holiday weekend! We made an appointment for later that week. The technician called to confirm the appointment and called again to say that he was on his way. (Often techs say they will call, but fail to do so) He diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the necessary part and installed it a couple of days later, in spite of a severe snowstorm which messed up their schedule. He installed the part quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable cost. I found D & M to be courteous and knowledgeable and will use them again.

Danny diagnosed it and showed me the problems and discussed repair vs buying a new dryer (dryer is 13 yrs old but a prior appliance repair person about 4 years ago left screws off and that caused much damage that otherwise would not have happened.) he discussed brands/types with me and looked up a few models. he said he could repair it but coud not guarantee how long dryer would work due to other extensive damage. i decided to purchase a new dryer. Danny repaired it to stop the noise and get it working. he told me it was safe to use and it could last awhile, no need to rush into buying. i had also asked him to take a look at dishwasher valve as in past i have had several leaks. he checked it for me. he only charged the diagnostic service call charge. grace, who anwered the phone returned my call within 2 hours and set up appt. she told me danny would call 1/2 hr before he arrived, which he did. i would definitely use this company again and recommend it.

The serviceman explained and showed me the part that needed to be replaced. After fixing the problem he made sure the everything was working. I am very please with the repair and the serviceman they sent.

The repairman was very professional and respectful of my home. He quickly diagnosed the problem and promptly repaired it. I will recommend this company to everyone I know and gladly continue to use them for all of my household repairs. They are the go to company for appliance repairs and are very honest.

Repairman arrived on time. He was extremely professional and polite. Fully explained the problems and promptly repaired the appliance. Also was very knowledgable and made excellent recommendations for future use and care. I will absolutely use them again for all my appliance repairs and will recommend them to friends.

The technician Danny was so professional. He immediately put on booties to cover his shoes which was a nice touch. He diagnosed the problem with the leak and had the parts in his car and made a quick repair. He also initiated the cleaning of all the crap that had fallen behind my fridge over the years. Above and beyond! I was also impressed with Grace who I spoke with over the phone who expressed empathy over my situation which I appreciated. I called at 5PM and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Saved me from having to buy a new fridge!

A month later another problem (unrelated to the first) occurred whereby my water line on the refrigerator was clogged. The technician spent over an hour meticulously unclogging each line - and didn't charge us. Thank you D & M Appliance !!!!! You have a customer for life !!!!

I had a problem with my dishwasher which would not drain. Danny called back immediately and set up an appointment to come by at my convenience. His office called the morning of the appointment to confirm. Danny was right on time. Very professional and personable. He took the dishwasher out from the counter, took it apart, cleaned it and fixed the clog in the drain. Very neat, clean and thorough. Price was great. I would certainly use Danny again.

Fixed. Very pleasant from start to finish. I thought I was going to have to buy a new dryer but tech Danny said that my type should last a lot longer than it did so for a lot less than 1/2 of buying a new one he fixed the one I already have, which is probably better quality than a new cheap one. I would recommend this company and this technician.

It ended up being better for me to replace it considering the age of the machine and the cost of the repair. The service man himself also suggested it as well. I am very happy with the service I received from them and if I need a appliance repair in the future I will call D&M again. Very professional and courteous.

D&M did a great job. They showed up when they said they would and fixed my dishwasher without hassle.

Fixed drain line

Danny came and assessed the problem and told me that it is actually not the evaporator, but that one of the pipe was clogged. Instead of the $1200 he originally quoted, the job is actually only $400. He and his assistant fixed the problem and tested the unit. Unlike the other repair shops that are very SPEEDY in giving you an inflated quote, Danny is very honest, he could have charged me $1,200 and I wouldn't know the difference. The job was done in high quality. I highly recommend him.

Replace washing machine drain hose. The part was not available locally. The service provider opened the machine and removed the old hose so we could verify we are getting the right hose. He gave us the part number and we ordered it online. He explained how to put the new one on at my husband's request. We were able to put the New hose on without a return trip

Danny was very professional, arrived on time and voluntarily put on shoe covers to not get my floors dirty, he did a fantastic job replacing the switch and even cleaned the range hood for me. Danny was very honest and polite. Would definitely hire him again.

I called D&M based on the reviews here. Spoke with Grace, who was very helpful. She asked when I wanted to schedule an appointment, and I said asap. She explained that they were pretty booked the next couple of days, but that she'd check with Danny and see if they could slot us in. She called back 10 minutes later and said Danny could come out the next afternoon, between 2:00 and 4:00. Danny called the next day to tell me when he expected to be there. He showed up as promised, took a look at the dryer and confirmed that the thermal fuse was the problem. A $10 part, and about 10 minutes of labor to replace it, but as he (understandably) had to charge a minimum amount for the service call, he wanted to make sure I got my money's worth, and proceeded to take the dryer apart, clean out all the lint that had built up, clean and lubricate all the moving parts, etc. It's almost like having a new dryer. Danny was courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and charged a reasonable price. I will definitely call on him again should the need arise, and am happy to recommend his services without hesitation.
