I was in dire need of a new mattress, since my 12 year old one had recently popped a spring, right in the center. Having had my old one for so long, I wasn't sure what I wanted. The bedding industry has come a long way, with an almost overwhelming variety of options. The sales man took the time to show me different options from soft to firm, pillow-top, memory foam, inner spring or a combination, etc...I did not want to spend a fortune, but I still wanted high quality. I laid on every style while he explained exactly how it was made. Low and behold, I like a firm mattress with a cooling gel/memory foam and innerspring hybrid construction. Sounds fancy, and it is! It is incredibly supportive, while being luxuriously comfortable at the same time. I bought the boxspring too, as it will help the mattress last longer. I have never slept better. Purchasing a mattress protector was a no-brainer as well. As the salesman told me, it will save my mattress from any spills, and help reduce dust mites and allergens. I only had to wait a week for my order to come. They delivered it and set it up-and even removed my old one! I could not be happier with my decision!
