The work went well, at first. We hired Jay Frink to renovate the dining room because he had done such a good job on a bathroom reno a few months before. Renovation began on August 3, 2017, following a delay of three months. After the first three weeks he worked only partial days. He had quoted 3 weeks to do the job but after 2-1/2 months it was still not finished, despite paying Jay in full, and in advance, for labor and materials. Now, wires stick out of walls, electricity is not connected, cable wires are not connected, bookcase/cabinet combo installed but finishing woodwork is not done. Clearly, completing our job was not a priority or concern. He claimed that he has completed what we contracted for, but used the April estimate not the September bill as evidence. Before the work stopped Jay was cordial, after that he was unprofessional. After 2-1/2 months, our dining room is still unusable.
