 + -1 moreTry to get them to respond to a phone call or email. NOT HAPPENING....They do not get back to you, so I'm guessing they're probably not reliable either. Glad there's so much work out there that they can turn away potential "new" work. Take your business elsewhere.

Description of Work: not very responsive. had to keep emailing/calling to hear back for quote(s).had to pay half up front then had to keep calling to ge a schedule. started about a month later than originally discussed. decent work but not sure worth hassle of using them.

Description of Work: new roof on house and detached garage. install new siding on house and garage, install new doors on house and garage. quality of work performed was excellent. They were punctual, professional, hard working, and take pride in their craft.

 + -1 moreWhile the work was done well in the end, there were quite a few hiccups along the way. First the contractor did not show up at the scheduled time for the initial appointment of assessing the work. Once he did arrive, he was enthusiastic about how to get the work done in a simple and effective manner. But then on the day the work was scheduled, he was unable to come because of an emergency on another job. I think this is understandable, but I had taken a morning off work and told this to the scheduler beforehand. So I was upset that no one called me the morning the work was scheduled to explain what happened. Instead I had to call 30 minutes after the scheduled start time and get the explanation. The work was then rescheduled, but since I could not take off work again, I was not home while the work was done, and the work was incomplete. When I brought this to Land G's attention they immediately said they would come back and finish the work, no extra cost. Despite this, and despite Land G's staff being very polite when I did speak with them, did not appreciate having to track them down and be so on top of them with so many aspects of their work.
Description of Work: Seal up a gap between foundation and rim joists with wood where a sill plate would usually be.

 + -1 morePrompt, professional and courteous from start to finish. The job was completed very quickly. Plan on using this company for other work. I would absolutely recommend Land G roofing. Glad they're in the area.
Description of Work: Removed all existing roofing material. Prepared & installed new roof. Straightened and braced leaning chimney.

Description of Work: L & G Construction was professional, on time and completed the work as promised. The carpentry was varied including making a custom door for my basement, an intricate handrail for the porch, and trimmed out all the windows. Along with many extras we added as they went along and never complained about the extra work. Painted doors and other trim for us. I would highly recommend this company, both my husband I were completely happy.

Description of Work: Excellent roofing company. They put a new roof on my 100 year old 5500 square foot commercial building. They came in on a Monday morning, ripped old metal roof off in morning, put new plywood down on entire roof Monday afternoon. By Wed at noon entire roof was done. During their work they straightened the old soffit and fascia and did not charge for the extra work. They cleaned up at the conclusion of each day. They were punctual and professional. They carry full insurance. Their pricing is very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone. I will use them again in the future.
