I normally don’t write reviews, but after getting multiple texts and emails every day asking me to rate this service, I’ve finally reached the point where I feel I need to share my experience.
I chose this company because of the high number of positive reviews. I was hesitant about the price, but the deep cleaning package included a lot, so I figured it would be worth it. My home is a standard 2,200 sq ft colonial with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms nothing unusual or overly difficult.
The day of the cleaning started off poorly. I received a text saying the cleaner would be an hour late, starting around 9 AM instead of 8. She didn’t arrive until closer to 9:30. I booked a deep clean that specifically listed tasks like cleaning picture frames, ceiling fan tops, air vent fronts, baseboards, and even the top of the refrigerator. I also paid extra to have the inside of the oven cleaned.
About 2.5 hours into the cleaning, I noticed she was mopping and seemed to be wrapping up. I asked if this was indeed a deep clean and whether the oven had been done because I never saw her clean it. She told me “yes,” finished mopping, and left without asking if everything looked okay or if anything needed more attention.
Almost immediately after she left, I got a text asking me to rate the service, and the remaining balance was charged to my credit card.
When I walked through my house, multiple areas that were listed in the deep clean package had been completely missed. I took photos of everything. When I called the company, the representative said they could send the cleaner back, which I did not want due to the poor job already done and the fact that I had already started cleaning some missed areas myself.
I asked for a partial refund since the job was incomplete. I wasn’t even asking for a full refund. The representative said they needed the photos or they “couldn’t do anything,” then hung up on me. After I sent the photos, they immediately called me back. They offered to send a different cleaner even though I had already cleaned most of the areas myself and then offered me a $100 credit toward future service. The last thing I want is credit or another visit from this company.
I eventually agreed to let a different cleaner come in, due to no refunded option…but by then the only thing left was the stove. No refund was ever given, and I never received the credit they claimed they would apply.
Overall, the process was extremely disappointing: poor cleaning quality, poor communication, and poor customer service. I’ve hired cleaners before and have never had an experience like this. Based on what I went through, I would not recommend this company.
Lastly, the number of texts and emails they send asking for reviews borders on harassment and that is the only reason I am writing one now.
