FIRST PRISE PROPERTY

People, this place is the East Side of Buffalo smack dab in the middle of Hamburg. Although it suddenly occurred to me while writing this that they, most likely, surrounded me with undesirables to, in fact, make me move so they could raise the rent on the next tenant. My 1st neighbor across the hall tragically died suddenly (too bad. I liked him. He was quiet, kept to himself, and worked). It never occurred to me what that smell was that kept getting worse and worse in the hallway. Never experienced that before. They had HAZMAT come in. Guy upstairs found him. Had to be dead at least 3-4 days. Pretty soon after guy upstairs moved out and First Prise Properties purchased apartment complex. At the time I had been living there for nearly 8 years. My NEW neighbor across the hall was a methadone addict who would CONSTANTLY open her door and attempt to listen to my conversations & knock on my door to beg for rides. She was often so high she'd fall asleep standing up while talking to me. Constantly begging for rides or favors. One day she fell asleep standing up at Tops Market. I walked by her and she never knew I was there. Once, she didn't pay her electricity bill so it was shut off. So she ran an extension cord under her apartment door and stole electricity from an outlet in the common area. I could understand a few days, maybe a week, but, like, 5 MONTHS...?! Running everything in her apartment off of it...fridge, TV, lights?! I tipped off the landlord. Not so much as a thank you. Upstairs were four college teens, 2 COUPLES sharing the 2-bedroom apartment directly above mine. They'd have keg parties of 20 or more teens five days a week. I work shift work: midnites, afternoons & days, repeat, etc. These kids were LOUD. Loud music, underage drinking, high kids sitting under my bedroom window discussing their role in the Universe while I'm trying to sleep at 4 AM and I have to get up for work in the morning, building bonfires on the front lawn, running up and down the common areas at all hours belligerent & shouting obscenities. Not to mention, how much louder it got when I confronted one of them and nicely asked him to be considerate. The Police said call the landlords...First Prise Property said call the Police...RIDICULOUS! I am an Army veteran with an Honorable discharge, 2 college degrees & I hold a full-time job, always paid my rent on time...I didn't deserve this treatment. Landlords would LIE to me and tell me they would DO something when I complained yet they utterly ignored me which further emboldened these punks. Once, I arrived home from work and there was teens & degenerates having a party on front lawn of my apartment building..grilling, drinking, getting high, etc. I parked my car, got out and walked toward the building and, suddenly, they stop what their doing and line up on either side of the walkway and, mostly silent, stood looking in towards me as I walked down the path...trying to reach my apartment after a hard day of work...they were either trying to intimidate me or provoke me was my take. Needless to say, I no longer felt safe. This was made clear to FPP and they chose to ignore me. this situation was allowed to fester and became a living h***. I was forced to purchase surveillance equipment as they began eavesdropping & vandalizing my apartment door and therefore I feared for my vehicles. Literally multitudes of various punks would boldly stand looking in my front apartment window and examine my cameras... mooning the camera, flipping the bird, etc. (but they didn't touch my cars!) My wife, came down with kidney disease and started dialysis. We no longer felt safe there. I literally HAD to move! I purchased a house and don't regret it. Wish I had done it sooner. Sometimes I was left with nowhere to park as there were so many visitors parked in the lots. And Hamburg LOVES to ticket vehicles parked in the street between November & April. FPP refused to enforce parking. Instead they created another small lot down the street where I wouldn't be able to see my cars. Nobody else parked in that lot either 'cept maybe like 1 car once in a while. There were cars occupying spaces which had, literally, NEVER been moved so perhaps...abandoned? Hmmm...I could see that spot from several of my apartment windows but...NO dice. And you certainly can't convince me that everyone parked in those lots actually LIVED there...?! I mean there were oftentimes average of 10-20 teenagers in apartment above at any given time...SLEEPING OVER no less...I'm telling you, it was like living in a dorm, barracks or frat house. Never knew who'd be outside the door at any given moment. It was THAT bad! CONSTANT traffic...UNBEARABLE! Started to see OTHER peoples cars being broken into. Again, HAD to move.
