I would not recommend Buffalo Roofing to anyone. Dealing with them has been a complete nightmare and the leak that was reason for the replacement still exists. DO NOT USE BUFFALO ROOFING.

After 2 + years the right guys came to work with them and made things happen.  So far we have had our roof fixed that they were supposed to do in the first place and he discussed an issue and was great about it.  We then paid the extra for the discussed issue and he took care of it all.  I wish we had him in the first place.  This guy took responsibility and made things happen on the outside of the house.  We are still waiting on the fixes needed to the inside of the house because of the issue with the roof on the outside.

The owner of this company is a great person, very nice to talk to but he seem to get so big so fast it might have caught up with him.  We hope that they get a chance to regroup and go out and make up for what things happened.

They removed 1 and didn't get all of them. I thought their work was very sloppy seeing that my whole roof was just put on by there company!

It all started when we had Mike from Buffalo Roofing come to give us a quote.  He was late arriving but VERY nice and helpful.  He quoted us with having to make a repair taking out a section of the wood that was bad and having to replace it.
The date was set and they came and all seemed good except there was no wood to cut and replace the section that was bad.  The team lead guy that arrived was fine but said he didn't have that information so they were only going to do the job that they were scheduled to do.
So I left messages and texts with Todd (the owner I assume) at 716-444-7663 and he was really great.  He came out and he looked at what wasn't done and said he would take care of it and schedule them.
We waited and nothing happened.
Then we had a HUGE rain storm and water was flowing in the sky light.  We waited and waited for a response and all the sudden as we are getting ready to leave for a wedding this truck starts backing in.  He told us they were there to fix the roof and he didn't care that we had a wedding we could either have it done now or not have it done.  So we  had to wait to leave for the wedding.  The guys were really really mad and mean to us about it.  And I have to say I was really mad that they came without any contact and it affected us going to a wedding.  It took then under and hour but we were really late for the wedding reception.  It was really awful to arrive that late but for me it is more rude to not show up after you said you were coming and all of our kids were already taken to the sitter.
So they still did not fix the bad section.  So over the next year or more we kept trying to call and text and finally a guy came out and said yes we are going to take care of everything and took pictures and everything and say how we had damage from the pipe at the top of the roof that had not been sealed and the bad section. He said "We will get someone right in here to fix it and do the drywall too".
We never heard from them again.  We called and left messages.  We text. We sent letters...
It has been a couple years and still not fixed nor a refund.
Really said because I did not want to put this on here.  I really waited wanting them to do the right thing.  It is so said.  The excuse the one guy gave was that they hire so many other companies out that they are not sure everything that is going on.  I said well then they should not take on that  many jobs.
We are still looking for them to do the right thing.

finally got them to come out after several calls with the salesman.  When they finally came to do the work one of the workers had to constantly leave as they didn't have the correct materials.  I questioned their work as I could still see light coming through from the inside of the house and they said it was not.  Needless to say when it rained it did leak and we had to have a new repair man come out who just filled everything with caulk and still a slight leak.  Called and left message and that was about 2 months ago and still no contact.  Also, I have never had my gutters replaced and am not willing to keep trying to contact them.  Terrible experience.  The reason I did not press to have the initial visit immediately was because the salesman stated he had some personal family issues so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and now I am paying the price for being empathetic.

Never heard another word about the estimate. Guess he didn't want to do our roof or maybe thought the tear off would be too much work...? Never had a contractor flake out on giving an estimate before. His loss.

Took 3 days for an 1100 sq foot ranch home. Very unprofessional team (smoking, lazy, very messy). They have had to come out 3 times since to repair leaks. Very hard to get company to respond to our complaints of a job poorly done by their sub contracting team who we were told were fired a short time later.

Complete ripoff of old roof including removing 3 unused chimneys. Job took longer than expectd to start but that was caused by weather issues. Job looks fantastic.

We replaced our roof this year a couple of years early to avoid having any problems.  We had estimates from five roofing companies and selected Buffalo Roofing, at least partially due to the number of roofs they had done in our neighborhood.  Our roof was completed on July 26, 2013 and has been leaking since.  Buffalo Roofing has been out to fix the leak on SIX separate occasions and has only made the leak worse.  As of this morning William C. Rott and Son is repairing our roof.  Needless to say this is costing us a significant amount of money. Buffalo Roofing would not return phone calls during this process.  The primary way I contacted them was to stop in at their Transit Road office.

This was a horrible experience. We signed a contract with them on August 16th, 2013 that said our new roof would be installed in 6 to 8 weeks. After 8 weeks came and went we contacted them, they said one more week, about 3 other times on the phone numbers we could find that were still in service; some of their numbers were disconnected. After 11 weeks after signing contract we contacted a lawyer as they didn't appear to be scheduling our new roof and already took 1/2 down. It wasn't until we contacted a lawyer that they finally schedule our roof.  Super unprofessional on the phone. The salesman that we signed the contract with told us after signing that if they drug tested their crews no one in Buffalo NY would ever get a new roof. As this was our contact, when 8 weeks had come and gone this is who we reached out to. He told us he was on vacation at first, then that he had quit the company, then he told us he was re-hired by the company, then we were told he was on leave due to a divorce. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BUNCH OF MEN. EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE, LIE AFTER LIE.
The crew members argued all day outside our windows, dropping the "F" bomb and other swear words all day. I have a home office and a 3 year old son so this language was truly unappreciated. They smoked on our property throwing their cigarette butts on our lawn. One of the crew came up to me husband and I quote word for word " I gotta p***, can I use your bathroom?"  They left shingle wrappers in our tree branches and other debris that blew up against our fence.
Before they were finished my husband found an area on the roof where the shingles were not even nailed to anything as they sheeted over a broken rafter, so when they nailed the shingles it just pushed the decking down making a "dip" in the roof's exterior and shingles that floated.  We texted photos of this to a supervisor, one of the crew went up in the attic and did nothing to correct it. My husband ended up fixing it himself.
The vendor did give us 10% off and a couple hundred in free gutters but it was like pulling teeth to get them to do the work. We didn't want our roof put on in November. We wanted it put on in warmer weather so it would get a good seal.  We wanted them to stick to their contract of 6-8 weeks.  It appears they over-booked as weather was not an issue; a rainy day here and there should not have pushed it back five weeks.
We would not recommend them, we would not use them again. We should have done better research before signing with them. They had the lowest bid and it is true - you get what you pay for.

They started work against my wishes in bad weather, removed satellite dish and replaced it incorrectly, (was without TV for 2 weeks) Contract called for 1/2"plywood base for roof ...... contractor used OSB instead of plywood. A transition between an existing roof and a new one by contractor is a complete hack job and is, and still causing water damage at back of house. End caps on Aluminum & yankee gutter are not sealed properly....water dripping and leaking everywhere their work was done. There is still debris and NAILS in neighbors, and my driveway.
