Description of Work: I booked an appointment, signed their rates contract, took a day off work, and the never showed. Didn't event call. When I called — three times — each time the dispatcher couldn't tell me anything. Life's too short to do business with people who don't honor their commitments.

+ -1 moreI was charged an exhorbitant amount--over $2200--for fixing a shower that had a small problem. I was not notified of the cost of parts until the job was done. I was expecting a bill for $500. I am completely in shock. I asked for an itemized bill, and was given a laundry list of unspecific parts without product numbers. Beware of these guys.

Description of Work: Pro-Tech has worked in my coop of 110 units frequently. I have used them more than once over the last twenty years. This last call was to repair some plumbing issues caused by my neighbor's gut renovation. I plan to call them again in a couple of months when I plan some renovations.

+ -1 morePaul Shrank, who was my contact, always made sure that his men were on time and made sure the work was done up to par. When there was an electrical connection problem with the dryer, Mr. Shrank made every attempt to try to remedy the issue even though it was an electrical and not a plumbing issue. The extra effort was very much appreciated. I fully trusted the company even though I was not present during the construction process of my newly purchased apartment on Park Ave.
Description of Work: Removed old sink and connections. Returned after new sink and countertops were in place to re-attach sink, dishwasher and ice-maker. Installed washer-dryer and over-flow prevention equipment.

+ -1 moreTHEY DID VERY GOOD WORK AND ARE PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE ON TIME AND DID NOT OVERCHARGE US. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND DIDN'T LEAVE ANY MESSES FOR US TO CLEAN UP.
