I contacted this contractor, Kosta, to do a servicing/cleaning of the dryer, washing machine and range hood, after the tenant moved out while the unit was vacant, to get them ready for the new tenant. We confirmed on the work and agreed on the price on the phone. The cash was later left in the unit for him. I was not in New York at the time. When I called to follow up to see if the servicing/cleaning was done, he told me I needed to buy a new range hood because it's broken. Two days later my realty broker went to the unit and found that the range hood was working. I called this contractor to question him if he actually did the servicing. He first insisted that it was broken, then later admitted he did not actually tested it, or service/clean it. The most annoying is that he was not apologetic, rather very rude throughout the communications.

Great - turned out that it was a loose screw. Very courteous.

I had 2 issues: The "start/stop" button was jammed and the door popped open during operation. Kosta, the owner, ordered parts based on my description and was very easy to deal with. He was easy to reach and was on time for the appointment and made the repair. His price was about $100 less than others and his warranty is good. I would recommend him without hesitation. By the way, he is more than willing to come to diagnose a problem and then come back to install with no extra charge. I self diagnosed only because it was close to Thanksgiving.

It worked well. It was for my apartment. I wasn’t even present. Somebody else was in the apartment when they came. But I heard everything went well. They liked the people. The price was not any higher than they quoted initially. They were professional.

I can only tell you positive things about this company. They are outstanding.  I have used them at least five times over the last decade.  They deliver rapid responsiveness, and a very personalized service. Whenever I've called and had a question, they've put me in touch directly with the person who was going to do the work. Once, when I called them right before a holiday weekend (because I had to make a big dinner and the oven wasn't working), they fit me in at the end of a long work day as a last minute  appt. They never charge more than a reasonable amount for their service. On one occasion, when they came out and found they couldn't fix something that visit, they didn't charge us for that first visit. They are polite, and feel like a family-run, small business with incredible integrity and responsibility.

The contractor was neat and cleaned up really well when he was finished. We were satisfied with the work he did.
