They were really good. They were very clean. They knew what they were doing. They explained what they were doing as they went around. They cleaned up after themselves. Their price was right.

My first experience was very good. They came in the summer of 2012 and installed a fence and door in my property, and a door on my neighbors. There price was good and they were a local company, so I went with them.
About a month later, I had my driveway repaved. I needed them to come back and lift the door higher, as the concrete was blocking the door from opening. It took them over a month to come back and raise the door. I must of made 20 phone calls. They were totaly unresponsive. Finally it was finished. On the bright side they did not charge me, because of the wait. On the negative side my car was stuck inside my yard, and could not be used for the entire summer.
During Sandy, my front gate door was destroyed. I called them up for service. It took them until Jan 20, 2012 to repair it. This wait was outrages. They kept telling me that the job is to small to send someone. the also charged my $1200 sbout a quarter of what the entire original job cost me!
I can not recommend this company.

Overall the experience went well. When I called Atlas and questioned their services, they set up an appointment for me the next day for someone to come by and measure the area where I wanted the fence. A nice, young man came and after he took the measurements I learned from him that I didn't meet the minimum requirements they want before they contract to do a job. Atlas
has a certain starting price for jobs. If I remember correctly it is $1,500.00. But while he was still at my house, the young man said he would call the office and see if they would do the job for $1,000.00 because that what he calculated it would cost for my job. The office obviously said okay. The contract arrived a few days later. I filled it out, mailed it with one third of a down payment. The balance would be paid after the job was completed. I was told up front that it would be a few weeks before Atlas would come to my house to start the job because of other customer commitments and the time it took to get supplies. I was okay with that.
When the day came for the job to be done, two men came on time. My job took about 4 hours to complete. My only complaint was that the wrong slats were brought, not the winged slats. I called the office and they sent the two contractors back immediately and I was told they would come back with the right ones. I thought the contractors would come back the same day. So I am sitting in the house waiting, two more hours pass and I wonder if they are coming back that same day. I call the office and learn they are not coming back that same day and that my winged slats will be available in a few days. After a lot of apologies for the inconvenience, I got my winged slats two days later. With the exception of the minor complaints I would say that I had a good experience with Atlas.

The salesman was very helpful and courteous. Price was better than others but they could not schedule within two weeks in the middle of summer.

From start to finish, aside from the tree stump which was my fault, they delivered what was promised in their estimate, plus went beyond expectations by working around the minor adjustment. They were on time both in estimating the date and hour on the day of installation. The fence looked great.

THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON THE FENCE. THE WORKERS WERE VERY POLITE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND LEFT LATE EVERYDAY UNTIL IT WAS DONE.

THE WORK WAS SUBCONTRACTED AND THEY WERE NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID THE WORK AND IT WAS COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION BUT I HAD TO WORK WITH THEM TO GET THE JOB DONE TO MY SPECIFIC WISHES.
