The Cultured Canine brings puppy and dog training classes to the privacy of your home. Want to take our class but are too busy to do the homework? You can hire us to do some of it for you right in your own home! The Cultured Canine visits clients in Westchester, Manhattan and Greenwich, CT. Housetraining Hotline is available nationwide. The Cultured Canine, LLC, is owned and operated by Diane Podolsky, CPDT-KA, CTC. Dog training is not a licensed profession, so it is important to ask about a dog trainer's industry credentials. Diane holds two highly respected dog training credentials. She is a valedictorian graduate from the highly respected San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers. And she is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA). These credentials entitle her to hold a Professional Level Membership in the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. In order to maintain her CPDT-KA, Diane completes at least 36 hours of continuing education every three years. Dedicated to humane treatment of dogs, Diane is a member of the Pet Professional Guild (PPG.) This organization is open only to pet professionals who agree to use only force-free methods. An excellent dog trainer must be able to communicate not only with dogs but with people as well. Diane has extensive experience teaching adults, in one-on-one, classroom and distance learning settings.
