After leaving this review below, we were contacted by Bellantoni. They resolved the situation with our landscape, and went above and beyond at no cost to correct our front landscape: removing dead plants, replanting, and adding new & much improved plants to the front line of the house. If I could remove the review below, I would do it. For some reason, Angi is not allowing it.

It ended up, something that would have normally cost $110, which is what they’ve charged to turn it on and off. I ended up paying $248 because of other things that they found that they had to fix. They’ve spent a lot of time here, shutting things off and fixing things. Sometimes they can be a little pricey.

The team did a fantastic job at a reasonable cost. We needed to have our back porch pitched and lowered and the team did quite thorough work. Additionally, after lowering the stones on the back porch and seeing that there was a lack of waterproofing/protection behind my shingles, the team fixed the problem at minimal additional cost (something that would have been a big headache for me if they hadn't caught it).

It went well. The installers were all professional, polite and experienced. Glenn (who took over the plant placement after John retired) was easy to work with and experienced. The plants look great and, if they are like the plants Bellantoni planted last year for me, the plants will be healthy and happy next year and for years to come.
There were two slight disappointments. When their supplier didn't have some plants, they just left it at that and said wait until next year. I went to the nearby nurseries and picked up some of the missing plants and put them in myself. Also, it would have been better if they had offered to provide me with the plant labels so I would know the varieties they planted. Each of these plants has lots of varieties and knowing what one has allows one to match later or try something with differing characteristics later.

Daniel from Bellantoni provided an onsite estimate and also came on the day when the work was done. We were happy with his very knowledgeable approach on many aspects of landscaping. He was honest about areas outside of his expertise and service of the company (he recommended an arborist to sort out some "tree needs"). He was very professional and patient with out many questions during the estimate and work. Daniel also followed up after the work was complete to ensure that the job went well.
The crew of three gentlemen who did the drainage work were all punctual, very pleasant, professional, and super efficient. They cleaned up, carted away debris, graded the areas with additional soil, and laid down grass seed over dug up areas.
We will be using them again in the future. Great service and expertise at reasonable prices (within range of 3 other estimates).

Team showed up a day before install was set for to drop off machinery and materials. The whole install crew showed up promptly on install day. The team leader walked me through the process and made sure trees were going exactly where i wanted. Install ended up taking longer than they thought and had to come back for a second day. Great care was taken to install new Arborvitaes, and as much as possible to take care of the transplants. A season later 11 out of the 12 transplants survived.
My only issue was that i was unable to go with someone to the nursery to pick out the trees. I was told they had already been picked out. Other than that i was completely happy with the services provided.

They were professional and did a good job. We didn't like the arrangement of the trees when they were put in, and they came back and rearranged them at no charge. Once we were on the schedule, they were punctual and did the work quickly, though it was a bit difficult to get added to the schedule in the first place.

Great! They offered us a few alternatives, we decided on what we wanted. Set a date, they arrived promptly, worked diligently and the job came out beautiful. Very pleased with this professional company . Pricing was on the high end but so was at the quality.

I have used Bellantoni several times and now will not use anyone else. They have repaired issues with my sprinkler system and have always been outstanding on all levels, including price. You truly can't go wrong with this company.

Bellantoni was excellent.
We had interviewed and obtained estimates from several providers and Bellantoni was just right. They showed up to look at the property when they said they would, they were prompt in providing the estimate, and was competitive with others (not highest or lowest).
A unique aspect of our experience is that we actually chose another contractor to start, based on having worked with them before and because their price was lower. When the first contractor brought the wrong stone and refused to replace it with the correct material, we had to terminate and hire someone else to finish the job. Bellantoni came back to re-estimate the job, and helpful in sorting out the work that had been done and what could be used to help us minimize our losses.
The work then progressed on the schedule Bellantoni said it would -- started on time, finished on time. And at the price quoted - no hidden charges or overages.
Bellantoni management was on site regularly to check on the work and confer with us, to make sure we were happy. Their personnel -- including office staff - was all professional, polite, hardworking.
Materials and installation were exactly as agreed.
We would recommend Bellantoni wholeheartedly. They know their business and clearly put the customer first. Kudos!

An experienced and capable firm. Accommodating, professional and knowledgeable. No complaints. The plants were planted in November, so I am waiting to see how they look this year. I plan to use Bellantoni again for more design and installation services this year.

The Construction Division Manager conducted a thorough evaluation of our yard, provided a proposed solution to our drainage concerns, and submitted a proposed contract with estimated cost. He had cameras that saw below the surface to evaluate our current system and carefully reviewed that system to determine how the new system could work best with it. He also gave estimates for use of the old gravel and sand system as well as the relatively new high quality EZ-Flow system. The workers were polite, competent and worked very hard. While the work ran into some unexpected difficulties which required extra work and expense, this was explained to us in detail and it was extra work that was necessary to make the system the highest quality. The french drain system that was installed is working very well and our backyard is now dry beautiful. We would definitely use Bellantoni again if the need for their type of services arises.

Not happy. I really wanted to like this company and use it as my new sprinkler company. My first complaint was the cost of labor that came through on my first bill. It was completely unreasonable for the hour or less they were there. I did call to see what the deal was and they did adjust the price. The most disturbing thing that happened was when i needed to close the system I called to make an appointment and they could't get there for a few weeks ( even though I had prepaid for the service ) and itwas later in theseason because i had some grass planted. Because they could't get out there two pipes burst! I talked tothe owner and they were completely unapologetic. I am so frustrated that i ever tried this company and will be going back to myprevious one.

"We give this client a D rating as well. Client called to have us winterize there sprinkler in mid November. We schedule and respond within 5 business days. Unfortunately during that time span we had 2 days of below freezing weather. They had a copper pipe (installed by others) on an exterior wall that froze and broke. I understand the clients frustration, but they blame Bellantoni for the damage because we could get there faster. The questions to asked are: - Why did they change from there previous service provider (and now switching back)? - Who installed the copper pipe on an outside wall unprotected in the first place with out a drain, to prevent it from freezing? Client was extremely rude to our office staff, and we are happy they have decide to move on. We wish them the best of luck."

They responded quickly and the installation was made before the winter weather. It took two days to complete the job which was satisfactorily completed in the rain. The manger of these types of jobs was called to check the work by the surpervisor.

Extremely happy with the entire experience, details are as follows: The job involved dealing with a car insurance (of the offending party), which proved to be a major stumbling block for multiple contractors (including those found on Angie's list), since a very detailed quote was requested. Michael Bellantoni's office told me immediately that they do have experience with providing quotes to insurance companies (which turned out to be very true), but producing such insurance-compliant quote would cost $100 (waived if they end up doing the job, which was the case with me), otherwise their quotes are free.
Daniel Sadler, who oversaw my project from start to finish, showed up sharply on time for his appointment to inspect the site and immediately produced a very positive impression on me by his general professionalism and to-the-point business attitude. He was wearing a neat uniform with a company logo [in stark contrast to my previous visitors], discussed finer details of the job, explained how he would approach it (and that it would take 2 separate visits of the masonry and welding crews respectively) and within 2 days he emailed me a very detailed quote (which in addition was the lowest of all that I received, in one extreme case by a factor of 3) - so the insurance company promptly accepted it (it rejected all the previous ones) and sent me a check within a week.
The job was scheduled within two weeks of the initial visit (about one week after me signing the contract - upon hearing that the insurance accepted the quote), and went very smoothly. Daniel was coming with each crew to give them extra instructions (and would stay on the job for the second visit when he was helping with welding the railing in place), and then would come later to check on the finished job (thus visiting the site overall 5 times, including the initial visit). Both masonry job and welding job were done very professionally, and the work site was kept clean and neat all the time, creating no inconveniences for my family members walking in and out the house via the driveway.
I am a very happy customer and would recommend Michael Bellantoni Landscaping (and particularly Daniel!) to anyone.

Andrew came and surveyed my property, talked in detail about the services they would perform. His team showed up on time and did an amazing job. They cleared the lawn of any debris, raked and fixed any holes made by my two newfoundlands. They trimmed and cleaned out all around my rose bushes and grasses. They cut back all of the shrubbery. They cleaned out vegetable garden and removed all weeds. I could not have been happier with the decision we made to use them.
Paul will be installing a new sprinkler system and has been patient with all of my questions and concerns.
Bellantoni will be doing my spring, summer and fall landscaping as well as the weekly maintenance. All of their prices have been fair and reasonable and they are happy to piece meal your projects to assist you with budgeting.

They were excellent. They are very responsive. They put things together in a professional, complete and project oriented package. They have a timely response. There is a much different type of quality and service from Michael Bellantoni than you may get from another smaller company. You may pay more, but the value you get in their responsiveness and professionalism makes it worthwhile.
