My furnace went out again and Gary came over right away. Listened to my description of the problem and figured it out in a few seconds - a loose connection. He seems like an old school guy that cares about figuring out the root of a problem.
I had two other guys come and look at my furnace going out over the last year. Both were young and never thought to check the connections.

Gary was called in September 2014 to repair a leaking pipe and top off the freeon. He was paid in full .
Given that this service was provided towards the end of the season , there wasn't adequate usage of the unit at the time. Once the weather warmed up, and the unit was turned on, the pipe began to leak again. I reached out to Gary. We scheduled an appointment for April 27 at 4.00 PM. which was a no show. I called Gary at 4.15 and he said he was working on another job and was unable to make it. Needless to say he didn't have the courtesy to call me to inform me. He said he would call me in a couple of hours to reschedule once he got back to the office . I never heard from him. I waited two days and called and left a voice mail requesting to reschedule and never heard back from him.
I would NOT use his services again given that the pipe he supposedly repaired and was paid for did not appear to be repaired.
He was paid in full for services rendered, agreed to schedule an appointment to fix the problem , didn't show up, didn't reschedule as promised and didn't return my follow up call either.
If you're looking for somebody reliable, don't hire Gary's services.

We contacted several providers to try to fix our heat flows in our house (extremely hot upstairs while cold downstairs).One of the provider, who actually installed years ago our boiler and A/C system, told us that they could not find out our issues and that the task was "impossible".
Katonah A/C and Heating then came to our house and conducted a survey in our house quickly, swiftly and efficiently.They provided good advice as to how to remedy our issues and offered a very competitive solution. When we agreed with the proposal, they came a couple of days after, marked all our duct pipes so that we know exactly where the heat come from and set up a wireless thermostat.
They also explained to us how the zones were distributed in our house, what should be done in each zone etc...Nobody before had taken the time to do that.
Since their intervention and work, we have been enjoying the winter in a well heated house.
We definitely recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat!

The job was satisfactorily completed but it was months after the promised completion date. I stopped using them because I didn’t think that they were responsive.

"We regret that we were unable to respond to this customer's request in a timely fashion. We would however like to point out that gas fireplaces are not equipment that we normally install for customers. We agreed to do it since this was an existing customer, but being that it was not a heating or cooling issue per se, or an emergency, we did it as soon as we were able to without neglecting actual HVAC repairs and maintenance for our other customers. We are sad to see this customer go, but we hope they will understand our reasoning in this situation."

They were on budget and on time. The technicians did a good job. The unit had to be suspended in our crawlspace and I was pleased with the efforts they went through to make sure the installation was done properly. They were responsive to my timeline.

I've used them for the last 21 years. They have done a very good job and are reliable. They are affordable and go the extra mile. One winter he replaced a motor on a heater very quickly. I would have had to wait a lot longer if I had to wait on the heating company.

Replaced my dead and leaking HVAC system. Gary showed up when he said he would. He charged me what he said he would. And he cleaned up beautifully when he was done. Would definitely use him again!

I called Greg on a recomendation and he come over same day when he found out 2 out of 3 zones of my AC were down. He was friendly, explained everything did a great job. He had to crawl through a very small hatch to work on one system and didn't complain like the other HVAC guy came to take a look at it. Would definately give him a call again.

HE SEEMED LIKE A NICE GUY. HE SHOWED UP THE DAY HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO SHOW UP. I CALLED HIM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ONE NIGHT, AND HE DIRECTED ME TO GO DOWN TO TURN A SWITCH ON, AND IT WORKED. HE SAVED ME A SERVICE CALL.
