It didn't. I called and left a message on their office voicemail 6/01/16, after waiting a few days to hear back with no response I called again and spoke to Dan. we went over the job, I emailed him the list of the equipment that I wanted to get a price on. Dan said he will give it to John, the owner and that John will get back to you. Three weeks later I didn't hear back from John, so I emailed Dan. No response. I called and left a message for Dan. No response. A few days later I called and got Dan on the phone and asked if it were possible that the company does not do residential heating systems and that they were not interested in this job? Dan said no, we definitely do residential work and are interested in the job. I asked if he could call John on his cell and see if he can call me. He did, we went over everything, John said he will email me next week to set up an appointment. Next week, no email, I emailed John to ask if we could meet this week. No response. After 1-1/2 months of trying to set this up, I will move on to another company. If you are not interested in the job or are too busy, why not just be upfront with people calling your company, instead of wasting there time and ruining your reputation?

Not sure what the technician did to one of my heaters, now it has a stop-start effect with hearting completely shutting off for 2-3 hours.  Thankfully, there are two other heaters in the house, so I am managing OK, but if not, I would be stranded.

Also, the technician who came home was not cordial. Was rather abrupt.

It was good. They try hard.

Hall gave me the best quote. The sale person was responsive and appears knowledgeable. He measured the size of the house rather than assume that the existing boiler was correctly sized. The boiler was replace on schedule, with no problem. The fuel tank removal took a while but they were relatively responsive in keeping me up to date on the reasons for the delays.

They were puzzled as to the cause. I was then quoted a replacement price as the option. I pointed out that there was a five year manufacturer's warranty for the unit, they claimed it was only three years and that it was out of warranty. I asked to speak to John Burrel the owner and he refused to call me back.
I called Honeywell and they confirmed that there was a five year warranty on the unit.
I'm using Angie's list to find a reliable contractor to do the warranty work.

They were very good! They might not be the cheapest but I think their price is reasonable. They said they would come between 8 am and 12 noon and that means that we have to spend the morning waiting for them but they are very good in their professionalism, they wear uniform with their names on it.

We have used Hall for several projects over the years - most recently to replace our oil burner. Their office is a pleasure to deal with and they arrive when they say they will. They replaced our 35+ year old burner after providing an estimate and scheduling a date to install. The installation was completed in one day and over the next week they made sure that any issues were resolved and the new boiler worked well. They responded immediately when we called. Their maintenance staff is a pleasure to deal with and they really care about the customer. We had a similar experience when we installed a new air conditioning unit and air handler. You feel like you are dealing with a family-owned business where the owner cares and will make sure you are satisfied.

Needed to add Freon and potentially repair. Took Far too many calls to even get a real response and set up appointment. Were very late, and when did show up was disrespectful and unapologetic. Just terrible business all around. Estimates for other repairs were far higher than others and tried to push for much higher cost of total system replacement.

We had several contractors bid for the job. Hall correctly sized our unit (not everybody did), came in at a reasonable price, and was refreshingly honest and direct in their communications. They arrived on time for all their appointments and cleaned up after themselves. Their work crew was friendly and knew their jobs. The job was completed on time and they fulfilled all of their obligations. Our system works fine and we are pleased. We would definitely do business with them again.

THEIR QUALITY OF WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THEY ALL USED PUNCTUALITY, COURTEOUSNESS AND PROFESSIONALISM. IT IS A FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS, AND WE HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM FOR TWENTY YEARS OR MORE.
