Stay far away! Our move was an absolute disaster because of Freedom Moving. I work in an industry that thrives on referrals and reputation of organization is critical and I would not take time to write bad review however our experience was so bad if we can save someone the headache, it?s worth it. Below is summary of issues we experienced

Under estimated the size of the truck and required to get another truck, they took over 3 hours to come back with new truck and did not communicate time frames.

My husband missed the scheduled walk thru for new home purchase because he was sitting on driveway for 2.5 hours waiting for 2nd truck to return and pack up remaining items as we were under tight times lines to be out of house.

Movers were scheduled to move into new house at 12pm and didn?t show up until after 5pm and we were left moving into house with 2 toddlers until late in the evening.

Extreme lack of communication on important details, i.e. confirming actual moving dates and times, time frame when truck to arrive to move into new house.

Movers broke our bed and I needed to reach out to them to get this fixed.

Freedom provided date to come and get bed, never showed up on initial requested time nor did they call and indicate that they were not coming, this was time taken off for work ? waiting again

When we asked when bed would be returned, we were told ?they cannot provide date?

The final kicker was that the final bill we received was $450 over the initial quote and the initial quote included packing services, which were not used. In total, my family spent about 6+ hours waiting around for movers to show up and were overcharged.

We sent the owner Joe Gordis summary of issues we experienced and he provided zero response.
Moving is an extremely stressful time and Freedom Movers made the situation even more stressful by lack of communicating details based on fact they are extremely poorly managed. I would not recommend their services to anyone ever other than to other moving companies to recruit/hire the 2nd in charge POC, Paul (don?t know last name) and the actual moving crew, whom were all great to work with.
