DIFEO GLASS & MIRROR

We upgraded to starphire glass, super clear, without the green tint. The shower was beautiful but the work is falling apart and the company is not standing by their name and coming to fix something that appears to be a simple fix. I am so disappointed by their unprofessional response and will make that clear to anyone in our community looking for this type of service.

Badly. I called in August saying I needed a mirror repair and Michelle requested I send photos. I emailed photos on September 23rd with a description of the problem and then left a voicemail a few days later. I called again September 30th to make sure I had the correct email address and reached someone, I assume Michelle again. She asked me to resend the email and looked at the photos while I was on the phone. She asked me if I wanted the glass reglued to the mirror frame (it is pulling away). I said "I guess so, I just want it fixed how you would normally fix it." We talked for a couple more minutes and she said they could do it but there was a risk the glass would break during the regluing. I pointed out it was already damaged on one side but had been repaired, which she scoffed at, saying I was scammed as it wasn't repaired, because the damage was still visible. I explained that I had bought it from my own employer at a warehouse sale at a very low price and the repair was free, and was only done to prevent the glass from further breaking. Her attitude was brusque since the beginning of the call, and I did not want to continue the conversation since she was not being helpful or professional. I started to say "you know, I think I'll call somewhere else" and she hung up before I could finish the sentence, saying "ok" or something like that. We have previously done business with this company and planned to use them again in an upcoming renovation, but now we will not. Why did they not reply to my initial email or to my voicemail, or apologize for not having done so? Did she not look up my name and address and see that we were previous clients who would potentially hire them again, so maybe some courtesy was required? Why did she not just ask for details then propose how they could help, instead of telling me I was scammed and treating me like a problem, not a customer?

I called about 10 similar service providers in the area and picked one who answered the phone and explained how my order is going to be handled in great details.  We set time to meet at the property and take measurements. Technician came exactly when promised driving professional track.  He had all tools needed to do the job right then.  Only was needed is glass.  Office called me to set up an appointment for installation.  On the day of installation 3 man crew came and installed both units quickly and professionally leaving spotless work place when left.  Excellent Job!!!!

They arrived on time and even gave me a call to let me know they were on their way. Once there, we noticed a few other cracked panes and I asked if they could be fixed. They repaired them on the spot too. The repair person was very courteous, even putting down a drop cloth to make sure the floor stayed clean. He did a quick, excellent job. The windows look great! I was very impressed by how well they did and have already called them back for more work!

I had a great experience with a fellow who installed a shower door. I had it done by home depot and it was a disaster. He took it all apart and put it all back together and did it for a reasonable price. They left the place cleaner than when they found it. He was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. When I see someone of this caliber, it reminds me of some of the older folks I used to work with.
