Our kitchen remodel went extremely well! We have done several remodeling projects and Custom Home Pro stood out way and above anyone else we had used. Marcio, who is calm and easy going, was extremely easy to work with. In addition to managing our kitchen project, Marcio also helped us design the kitchen on our own, saving money on a designer, & hired an expert cabinet maker. There were also no cost overruns on our project, even when extra work was sometimes unexpectedly required. Our kitchen is beautiful and we are always getting tons of compliments. We've had consistently great experiences with Custom Pro. We engaged Marcio and his team on multiple projects over the last few years touching virtually every part of our home- new kitchen and baths, staircase, roofing, siding, new front portico, flooring refinishing, new woodwork, etc. The team was punctual, courteous and professional throughout. It went great! We hired them to paint, demo and do some electrical work when we first moved into our home. Now working with them on transforming a sad bonus room into a beautiful and functional playroom and a small kitchen facelift. Highly recommend.

Excellent service

other than building permit taking more time than expected, things went reasonably smoothly. As with any remodelling you find hidden issues which need to be fixed or upgraded along the way. His pricing a perhaps 5-10% more but he does not cut corners and is fair with ongoing changes. The most useful aspect is his producing computer renderings before the work is done so we can evaluate alternate approaches. He has a good eye on how to make things look right.

Best proof of an excellent craftsman is whether or not you call on them again when work needs to get done. The foundation of our shed was done poorly by whomever the previous owner had do the original install (literally just sitting on cinder blocks!). Marcio provided a prompt and fair estimate and his crew did a great job getting the job done right. Thanks again, Marcio!

I needed to install and finish (cabinetry) a large marine reef aquarium. Marcio came highly recommended as both an excellent carpenter and general builder. From start to finish, Marcio was a consummate professional. It began with thoughtful discussions with my wife and I on how we wanted the finished area to look. Marcio then took careful measurements and produced a detailed 3D rendering of the proposed design in the living room.

When the job started, Marcio and his crew were on time, diligent in their work, and very respectful of our living space (super clean!). The finished product looks amazing, has been safely supported as prescribed by the building engineer, and we couldn't be happier - the fishies also! We continue to look forward to working with Marcio and his team in the future. Highly recommend you give them a shot - you won't be disappointed!!

Marcio, of Custom Pro Home Improvement, devoted his full-time to the project from inception to completion.  He maintains the highest standard of workmanship/craftsmanship through all phases of the project. We have used him on many occasions throughout the years and in two homes. If I were  to begin another project, he would be the first resource I would call.

Marcio's pricing is both fair and competitive and varies by the scope and size of the specific job.

Marcio was the general contractor for our bathroom remodel, hardwood floor installation. and interior painting/plaster repairs for a house in Eastchester, NY. He did an excellent job. His attention to detail was exemplary, and his communication skills are excellent. I was out of the state for most of the remodeling, and he was always quick to update me on progress with photos and e mails. He made smart suggestions about economical ways to deal with issues which arose during the remodel. I was so pleased with his work that I have used him for other smaller jobs.

Marcio and his crew are very reliable, honest and patient. "I ASK MANY QUESTIONS" and never he made me feel I was bothering him or asking to much. Marcio will manage all the renovation and he will keep you informed of any changes or new situation. He delivered the job as expected and on time.
Besides all that he is a pleasant person to work with and have around our family.

My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience with our downstairs bathroom renovation.  Marcio gave us a very good estimate, he started work in less than a week and his crew worked every single day until the project was done.  They never left to go start another job or to finish another job, etc..  I was so impressed with the tile guy especially.  He showed up at our house every day at 7:30am to get started every single day.  In addition to the extremely high level of skill and professionalism that was shown, was a true sense of empathy for the process.  At one point my wife was really struggling to choose a tile \ design.  Marcio met us at the Tile Shop in Scarsdale and spent over an hour with us looking through tile and discussing tile options. This was on a Saturday evening when most people would rather be home with their family and not with a client at a tile store.  Marcio has a gift for helping people keep things in perspective and treated us as if we were family.  Marcio is a master of customer service and truly gets how stressful any type of renovation can be for a home owner.  I could not recommend Marcio and his team more strongly.  The quality of his work is excellent.  The experience was great and I look forward to bringing him in to renovate our upstairs bathroom when the time comes.

The owner came, took measurements, discussed options, went back to work on it.
A week later, contacted me back with finished drawings, came over for the second time to show the plans and finish on pricing.

UNBELIEVABLE HOW GOOD IT WAS TO HAVE THE DRAWINGS DONE IN ADVANCED.  It really helped us see what was going to happen and address all details ahead of time instead of having to make modifications and compromise later.

Cabinets were built and painted off site.
He showed up on time and completed the installation in one day.
Absolutely amazing how the room changed from morning to evening.

He was a pleasure to deal with.  Listened to all of our requests, made suggestions to improve our design and was very conscious of our limitations (time frame).  He really made us feel like we were dealing with a friend and that he was there to help.

As a matter of fact, he is already doing work for my neighbor.   I have had some bad experiences with contractors and heard some horror stories but this guy restored my faith. 

The work was done in a timely manner and within budget. Marcio was always responsive when we had questions and especially when something we'd planned on needed to be adapted or changed outright. His men were courteous, (mostly) neat, and very skilled.

Do use this company for whatever renovation project you have in mind--you won't be sorry!
