Ruben was excellent! Helped me with filing the permits, even in the time of CoVid, was knowledgeable and patient. His crew was able to put up the fence beautifully in a matter of hours -- and we've been loving the fence ever since.

I was skeptical it would look as good as the wood but am very happy with the look and no maintenance! Professional and fair pricing. Workers were efficient and left site spotless. Ruben, the owner of Colony Fence is a first class gentleman and professional. He treats you super fairly and he does what he says and does it well. At the end, you give him any issues you want addressed and he immediately gets his crews to fix everything to the tee. I wish more tradespeople were of Ruben's caliber.

Ruben was great at coming up with a sensibly priced fencing solution for my back yard. I'm a keen gardener and wanted to keep the deer out, and I have a beagle who is an escape artist, and wanted to keep her in! I was really pleased with his installers. They were friendly, respectful and hardworking, and they did an excellent job. It was installed 2 years ago. I chose a section of deer fencing through some tall trees, and sturdy metal fencing for the majority of the yard. I've been extremely pleased with it's durability. It looks really smart too. Unfortunately my landscaper broke a couple of hinges on one of the gates last year, and I contacted Ruben, needing a quick fix because of my wandering dog. He had his guys turn up on a weekend on their way back from another job to put new hinges on. I was really impressed that they went out of their way to help me out. I highly recommend this company.

Home repairs/projects can be difficult but Ruben made this project a breeze. My side fences are wood (painted white) and looked great for years but needed constant powerwashing and painting and finally the posts underground rotted on one side. I was hesitant to replace with vinyl but the products are greatly improved from when we initially installed the fence. Yes, up close you know it's vinyl but it looks great, is sturdy and you only have to hose it off to clean it! From my first call for an estimate thru the finished install, Ruben was responsive and his team was terrific. He even offered ingenious solutions to the grading issue of the property. The other side fence finally gave out so now I'm calling Ruben back to change that one. Highly recommnend Colony Fence.

Initial fence installation was good - responsive in getting a quote and work completed. When a latch on the fence stopped working, it became impossible to get anyone to respond. I chased and left messages for months and finally was promised that the work would be done, or at least assessed. Never came, chased again, never came. Unfortunate that the company won't stand by their work.

Ruben and the guys were great, cleaned up and great price. Brought over a sample of fencing to review and they removed/installed new wooden fencing. Also they carefully added "deer" metal fencing on the side of the house by a rock wall with minimal disturbance to the wall and arborvitae hedge. I wasn't even there to supervise and it was perfect. A few weeks later a swinging fence door got misaligned, wouldn't close, I emailed them and within 1 week it was fixed. Holding up very well 1 year later.

I decided to work with Colony Fence when one other quote came extremely high (materials were the same as I was given the same brochure) and another company wouldn't even come out unless I had 150 feet of fencing to install. Once contract was signed and agreed upon, I waited approximately 3 weeks for the materials to be ordered/ delivered and was contacted promptly to set up an installation date and time, The workers were very polite, efficient and informative. The lead worker, Fabian, rang my bell a few times to consult with me about certain areas. I especially like this aspect because I am very hands-on and I like to be "in-the-loop" at all times during the progress of the work. They did an excellent job on the upper portion balcony which I had some concerns about because the flooring was pitched at different points. The owner, Ruben, is an upstanding person and I would definitely work with them again.

This was a small project and I am pleased with the owner's responsiveness, the time it took to complete the project and the work itself. Would recommend
