I have been using love & care for approximately 3.5 years. They are amazing and accomodating even on last minute calls. I have a job that has very sparatic hours and lots of last minute changes, love & care is always there to help if i need them. When i go on vacation i can sleep at night knowing that they will be there for my, very large dog, throughout the day. I cannot say enough about this company other than if u need a pet sitter/dog walker i would highly reccommend love & care to tend to your animal(s) .

Love and Care was very efficient and professional . They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly with my dog, Terri, during the consultation. I was instantly secure that they would take great care of him on our weekend get away. :0) While I was away, they stopped by the house a few times a day to check on Terri, play with him in a yard, take him for walks, and ensure that he was comfortable. When I arrived home I was ecstatic to see sweet notes on how Terri was enjoying his weekend! Will definitely be calling Love and Care whenever in need for a friendly visitor for my pet!

They did not come 4 times per day. There was a pool of urine on the floor when I came back from vacation.

Amazing service!

This company walked my dogs twice a day on weekdays. The ratings I gave this company relate only to the management of the company as that is the only constant. The individual dog walkers can be great but they don't seem to stay with the company for long. Additionally I work during the day so I have little interaction with the walkers. I had one walker for several months who was very reliable so I rarely had to deal with management. Once he left and I had to deal directly with Eddie things went downhill very quickly. I did not want anyone having access to my house without having met them personally since I will not be there. Therefore, I asked to meet with any backup people who may walk the dogs in addition to my usual walker. I met several people over the eight months they worked for me who, for whatever reason, were never employed by the company when they were needed to cover for vacations, illnesses, etc. As a result, there was always uncertainty as to who the replacement walkers would be and they would need to scramble to find a replacement. On one occasion a potential walker was sent to my house before the owner, Eddie, ever met them in person. It was also expected that I would change my schedule as they needed when they identified a replacement at the 11th hour. My complaint generally is that the office is very poorly managed in addition to never having a reliable backup (other than Eddie himself). On one occasion no walker showed up for the day which they did not know until I called to complain. Even more bothersome was having Eddie use my house several times to transfer documents for his business to his employees (even though I told him not to do this). Once the package left on my doorstep contained keys to other customers houses and instructions including addresses. At the end I decided it was not worth paying a manger who I actually had to manage when I could make other arrangements that secured the health and safety of my dogs. The last day they worked for me they canceled the walk 15 minutes before they were supposed to arrive. To date I have not received a refund for the walks they did not show up for (since you pay a month in advance) or more importantly the keys to my house.

I had a terrible experience with them. They did not do a good job taking care of the animals, my kitchen was covered in urine. The urine had leaked through the floors and into the basement. They also left my sliding door open. They gave me 5 phone numbers for them and I was never able to get a hold of them. Because I could not get ahold of them, I was worried about the animals and had to change my flight to leave later when I finally reached them. Upon my return they never followed up with me to see how things went or returned my house key. In addition, they demanded I pay in full, up front, with cash. They charged me $700.00 for 5 days, I was not comfortable having to pay that amount in cash, especially before the work was done. The manager left me a message complaining about me giving them a check to hold and then that I would pay the cash after the service. She said that Eddie INSISTS I pay cash.

We were very impressed with the professionalism and responsibility of this agency. They have local pet-sitters in many parts of Long Island, and the married couple assigned to us were intelligent, responsible, caring people. We met them before deciding to go ahead with the service. The pet-sitters took excellent care of our dog and made sure the house never looked unoccupied, bringing in mail and newspapers. They stayed in touch with us, calling after the first and last visits and leaving a written report. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying, and would work with them again in a heartbeat.

The first time I used their services (2008), I came home to three happy dogs and a very clean home. This time, a different sitter was sent to my homeThere were no less than 8 spots of dried urine on the floor and my kitchen counter and table were filthy. In addition, she apparently brought microwave popcorn into my house and didn't dispose of the bag because I found shredded pieces of the bag all over my kitchen floor. I called the company after I washed my kitchen. He told me he would call the girl & call me back but I still haven't heard from them.

They are great. They come when they say they will. I have absolutely no complaints. The animals are happy. They are glad to see me but they are not overly glad as if they were desperate. You can tell that they have been well taken care of.
