Bathroom was completely gutted and rebuilt. Work was done in a professional and expert manner with accuracy to detail. Work included electrical and plumbing in addition to tile installation. They showed up daily until the job was completed and cleaned up daily. Removed old paneling and replaced with sheetrock, painted and updated electrical light fixtures on 1st and 2nd floor hallway. It was a difficult area due to height of walls but they figured it out and did an excellent job. The remodeling job, front hall update and several other jobs were completed accurately, they did an outstanding job in a good time frame and always cleaned up daily and at the end of the job.

Very professional, work done expertly and with attention to detail. Once they start a job they continue until it is finished and always cleanup. John always open to contacting him if any issues or problems with the work.

John has done several jobs at my house. He has installed fencing, electrical, and hardwood floors. He and his crew do excellent work. His prices are competitive and reasonable. I will continue to use Giarusso Contracting and recommend their service.

I found the telephone number for John in the Times Union, called and set up an appointment for an estimate on 9/30. He said he would e-mail me in a day or two with a final estimate. I called on 10/12 to inquire about whether or not he was still interested in performing the work, to which he said Yes and then if I could still expect an estimate, to which he also said Yes. The estimate arrived on 10/15 and I responded that I agreed to the terms and would like the work done by 10/31. John replied on 10/24 and said he would have it done that week and would let me know the day. Today is 10/30 and I just called John and, guess what, he can't have it done. I'm new to this whole homeowner having to hire a handymen experience but if their communication skills are any indication of their contracting abilities, I might as well start slinging a hammer myself. I felt that John showed no professionalism and I would not recommend him... not that you could get a response out of him anyway.
