Could not have been better. This was a complicated job done to perfection. Chris Gallardo and his crew removed an existing RR tie construction and replaced it with field stones and flagstone. Their work is done with remarkable precision and en excellent sense of what will be most appealing to the eye. His men are hardworking gentleman. When the job was finished they did a complete cleanup.

The wall and front lawn have never looked better since we've been in the house. 

Green Desire was also very accommodating in our need to wait for the insurance money to settle up their costs.

It went pretty well. We asked them to run multiple tasks concurrently and everything was done perfectly on time. The owner is very responsible and attentive, and really helpful to define project scope.

The end result is great - looks exactly as we hoped and so far is holding up great. They did a massive amount of work - the most impressive part to me was the retaining walls rebuild, which blends perfectly with the old ones.

Chris gave me a very professional quote laying out his steps and quotes per step, which really helped to see the reasonability of his numbers (we had received some other quotes which were pretty ridiculous). Any further work we had done he was pretty good about clarifying with us ahead of time on costs. Any cost overruns on the project were almost entirely alterations we made. He came in at his number with a high quality, beautiful job. He was especially patient with a lot of it questions I had (probably too many).

The only issue we had was sometimes it was hard to get things moving, sometimes a bare bone crew or we didn't see them for a few days here and the job ran a little long. I consider it a worthy trade off for his good rates and quality work. We had a few things someone messed up but Chris was fantastic about fixing anything we weren't happy with and was very responsive.

I would highly recommend his company and have used them since.

 OMG! Green Desire was fantastic. First of all I met the owner Chris during our one big snow storm of 2015.

 I needed my driveway ploughed and finding his name on Angie's list for snow removal, I called. Chris came immediately and I felt the job was fairly priced. His professional, down to earth and kind manor led me to set up a snow removal contract with him on the spot. I mentioned at that time that I would like him to return in the Spring for an estimate on the work that was just completed.

   As with the snow removal, Chris was very prompt, courteous, precise with

 the work contract estimate and time on the job. Every thing was done exactly as he described, Beautifully designed and repaired. He and his crew were done in 2 days, clean up was immaculate and my home looks so lovely. I would  rehire and recommend Green Desire in a heart beat. Thank you Chris!

It went very well.  The crew was great.  Miriam explained what she wanted done and they executed it.  We discussed her suggestions.  Some I went with and some I didn't.  She was very easy to work with.  She made a big suggestion on opening a corner of my patio (something I never would have considered).  It made a big impact and everyone comments on it.  I would recommend this company and I would use them again.

Christian and his guys did an amazing job on our new front walkway and front yard landscaping. 

Christian was very helpful in the design process and gave us options in different price levels to help us customize the work in a way that made us feel comfortable.  He also has a very keen eye to the aesthetics of the work and made sure to voice his opinion if he felt a certain option was worth it for "curb appeal."

His team of workers were there whenever weather permitted, even if it was only a few hours a day when the temperature was right for outdoor work.  They really squeezed every workable minute out of each day to make sure the work was done as quickly as possible so we could get back to using our front area.

Christian also handled communications and scheduling with various other services (electrician, architect for permitting, etc...) so that the process was streamlined and there wasn't any extra work put on us.

When the work was done, Christian gave us tips on how to properly care for the walkway in the winter season, and also gave us some options for further work to enhance the front whenever we feel ready to go onto next steps.

We will definitely use Christian in the future for our landscaping needs!!

The team at Green Desire appeared to be extremely busy and it took some effort to get a hold of and schedule appointments. Chris was very professional when we were able to meet and really demonstrated a strong knowledge of his business. My disappointment was really a function of responsiveness and follow ups after work was performed. In the areas where new grass was planted, there are patches that remained ungrown. An old fence was removed from the yard, but the holes where the fence came out were never filled (almost broke my ankle). After the work was performed and the invoice was paid, we did not hear from them again, even knowing that we had additional projects we were considering (e.g. a fence). As a new homeowner, we were looking for a long term partner that we could trust to help us not only maintain the lawn, but to also provide creative ideas for what else we could do on the premises. Unfortunately, I think Green Desire was a little too busy this past year to give us the level of service we were looking for.

My initial voicemail was followed up by a lovely, polished person from the Green Desire office. I booked a time for the estimate appointment, but unfortunately the person meant to do the estimate did not show up. I called after an hour (giving them the benefit of the doubt), and got a call back to reschedule for the same time the next day - traffic, etc. Ok.
I then got a text that evening (with no identification or intro) saying, "I heard your voicemail, but I didn't miss an appointment, it's tomorrow". Some points for following up, but he was wrong. I texted back, "No, that was rescheduled." Apologies all around.
The next day, he did not show up again. I got a call after he was an hour late from the Green Desire office. This was followed by a text when he was 1.5 hours late and said he was almost there. I asked him not to come, he insisted. He came, he gave us an earnest, standard explanation of what he felt would need to be done. He rushed through the estimate because he knew we had a place to be shortly. He was pleasant, but too little, too late. Probably an earnest and unfortunate set of events, but not handled professionally.

Green Desire did an excellent job several years ago.  We had many estimates for this work, over the course of two years, of exploring options.  Many providers claimed they would do the work with machines, which would ultimately destroy our property.  ANd of course, in those cases the cost was prohibitive (especially when one includes landscaping cost).  The owners of Green Desire were a pleasure to work with and the job was completed using wheelbarrows and manual labor.  Our property remained in tact.  The work was well done and very well priced.  Would use them again in a heartbeat.

It all went well when the crew finally got here. But it took around 3 weeks for them to come, even after I told them
I needed the yard cleaned up ASAP so I could show the house.

We were really pleased with Chris's fast responses and communication.  He visited our house twice, answered many questions via email, invited us to see plants in person at the nursery where he shops and see a house he was currently working on.  He genuinely cared that we be happy with his work.  My husband and I had expressed that we really wanted to find someone who we could work with on several projects over the next 2-3 years and he gave us lots of ideas for the projects to come. We are looking forward to working with him again.

less than half of the plants survived, but there was only a one year guarantee.   After a lot of back and forth I agreed to take down my negative review, because there is no proof that it was due to them - after all they do not grow the plants or trees, they buy and resell them.

So I guess they did they best they could.

He did not show up when first scheduled. I had email sent to his smart phone to reschedule. Second date he dropped off workers, told them what was to be done and left. They made the repairs but left the front stairs looking very blotchy and unfinished. After contacting him with our displeasure his response is he did the repairs. He did not do anything to blend or make the repairs unnoticeable. He was the cheapest price. Lesson learned. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
