Not knowing the construction business my mother went along with the Gus' advice.  Now the work was done and the very next week it had rained and guess what?  The water was still seeping in through the bricks. The contractor had been contacted and replied that he was busy and when he had extra time he would come over to see the problem. My mother nor I  had ever heard from Gus again so we were forced to take GUS PIETRO-Owner of G. PIETRO LLC located in Westbury N.Y. to small claims district court resulting in a fraction of the price paid being refunded to her
All consumers, no matter what age, must beware:
1) Get recommendations
2) GET IT IN WRITING (every single detail)
3) Pay buy check so you have a record, and always make the check out to the company (Not to  "CASH")
