+ -1 moreNot knowing the construction business my mother went along with the Gus' advice. Now the work was done and the very next week it had rained and guess what? The water was still seeping in through the bricks. The contractor had been contacted and replied that he was busy and when he had extra time he would come over to see the problem. My mother nor I had ever heard from Gus again so we were forced to take GUS PIETRO-Owner of G. PIETRO LLC located in Westbury N.Y. to small claims district court resulting in a fraction of the price paid being refunded to her All consumers, no matter what age, must beware: 1) Get recommendations 2) GET IT IN WRITING (every single detail) 3) Pay buy check so you have a record, and always make the check out to the company (Not to "CASH")
Description of Work: The Owner "Gus Pietrantori" came to my home to discuss with my son and I how to repair a water leak from the exterior back wall of my house. Upon his arrival to the job sit he stated that he would remove the gutter and fascia board on the second story of the home to gain access to the bricks and make necessary repairs. On the day of the repair he showed up with one worker and a ladder (Hardly enough equipment I thought to conduct repairs to a 22 foot wide home near the roof-line). Well my suspicions were valid. When questioned, the owner "Gus" told my mother that he was going to remove old gutter and replace with a larger one and that removing the fascia board was not the problem. ( Cont'd)
