I had used them twice. The first time I went there, I bought a tire, and they tried flipping the charge that they said nothing about. I read over the contract, and I found it. They took it off. With the inspection, they were straightforward, and there was no problem with that. I would say for inspection, they are good. They do not try to sell you something that you do not need.

They were wonderful. When one is able to give a positive recommendation for somebody that fixes cars, then that says a lot about them. They are very honest and very thorough. They will not overcharge. They do keep in touch with the car owners during the process, which is good.

I went to this Firestone because it was recommended to me by someone in my car club. The experience was o.k.

To my great surprise, every aspect of this experience went extremely well.

I have mixed feelings about the job they did. It seems that they are becoming more like a dealership. I went in there and they came back with a shopping list of things that they could do for me. They were trying to sell me a new air cleaner and air filter and I declined. I told them that I am not going to spend more money than I needed to. They are trying to sell you a lot of services, some of which are, perhaps, questionable. They are expensive. Their quality of work is very good on standard services but not all that great in diagnostics and troubleshooting. You have to tell your problem to someone in the front office and they write it down on a piece of paper and pass it on to the mechanics inside and things can get distorted. They are very punctual with appointments. They keep a clean shop. I would continue to use them for basic stuff like oil changes but would think twice before I go there for more sophisticated stuff.

My check engine light went on on Sat. 10/2/10. I brought the car in to on 10/3 to find out if the car was safe to drive. I had to pay a diagnostic fee. I was told that there were two error codes that showed up. One error code indicated the fuel mixture was too lean, the other indicated a faulty fuel /air sensor. I expressed a preference for an original equipment replacement part, which they did not have in stock. They would have to buy the part from the dealership. I stopped by on Wednesday 10/6 to get a price quote. They called a car dealership to check for the availability of the part and to get a price. The sensor was very expensive and they offered to get me an aftermarket part for less money. I opted for the OEM part from the dealership. I was also told that by replacing the sensor, the problem with the lean fuel mixture might also get solved. I brought the car in for service the following day. The Firestone dealer had to send someone to pick up the part. The part was installed, the check engine light went out, and they had the car ready before the promised time. Their prices aren't cheap, but they do stand by their work, and have the car ready by the time promised. It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance, but get your car in early in the day, particularly if you want to wait for it as opposed to dropping it off. The amount I spent includes a diagnostic fee for services performed a few days earlier, but related to the same problem.

I looked them up on Angie’s List and they are awesome. My Saturn dealer is gone so I was looking for someone to take care of my car. I went to a mechanic that the dealership recommended but I didn’t get warm fuzzies so I kept looking. The people at Firestone are so nice; they look until they find what is wrong, they don’t charge an arm and a leg, and they don’t tell you that you need work done if nothing needs to be done. The quality is outstanding, they are very responsive, and they are done when they say they will be. I will definitely use them again.

From the start the staff was friendly, they got us in and out very quickly. It turned out that we had a bad bearing in the wheel. They replaced it, did an oil change and replaced another burned out light for $500. We had the car back within 48 hours. They also called to keep us up to date on where they were with the car.

The crew at Firestone do a good job. They are courteous and on the up and up. I feel as though I can trust them. I will continue to use their service in the future.

They have an excellent service. They are always very fast reliable and honest with everything that they do. They don t try to rip you off about anything and the prices are reasonable. I am pleased with the service and I would recommend them to other people any time.

They said they would take care of the inspection, explained what it would cost, and said it would take about an hour. They did it and called in about an hour to tell us the car was ready (and passed inspection).

I always like going to a place where I see the same people working. They are always very prompt and courteous as well as very honest. I have been going there for over ten years and have always received the same high quality service.
