C & R CONSTRUCTION

It was supposed to be a remodel and an addition project. We choose him because one of the owners of this company built the home we live in, so we figured that he be the best guy to do the job. Unfortunately we did a handshake deal and we kept asking him about the money because we knew that we were going to be running out of money. He knew upfront how much money we had to spend and when we were getting down to the skinny minute of the money, he bailed on us and left us at the end of October without part of the roof. The project is still unfinished and we had rain pour into our house from the exposed old roof and damage the ceiling in one of the bathrooms that he never repaired. The list goes on and on and a lot of work that was done improperly and had to be redone by someone else. He even had the audacity to call us in July and ask for more money. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He did come back and do the roof and we went and paid for all the materials our self because I was suspicious about whether a lot of the money was being spent on the material or was going elsewhere. He is one of the most expensive contractors in the area. He is particular about some of the work he does and sometime he got a little lazy. His punctuality was terrible because he would show up with his partner and if we left he would too and wouldn?t be here when we came back.
