"we all thank you for your business"
"We apologize for this lack of service. This is not how we normally treat our potential customers. Unfortunately your project slipped through the cracks. We pride ourselves on our quality installations, prompt service if needed after the project is completed and lifetime warranties on our work. If you are willing, Allen our Director of Project Managers, would love the opportunity to discuss your project and see what can be done to make you happy. Again, we apologize we took up your time."
He then went on to explain what he thought happened. Never start a customer complaint email with "First off". I am a marketing manager and would have some serious explaining to do if I ever spoke to a customer this way, no matter the situation.
BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU DECIDE TO USE FESCO FENCE
"Fesco Fence parted ways with David for obvious reasons. This is not the way we do business and have not been in existence since 1969 operating this way. We pride ourselves on our quality and service and are embarrassed at the way this job got out of hand. To resolve this we got together with Ms C and Mr Sloan and worked with them to reinstall the fence according to their desires, obviously at our own expense. We thank them for their patience on this project and hope we are given another chance in the future."
We were in the market for a new fence for a few reasons: the stockade fence was rotting and ugly; increased privacy as the old fence pickets were warping apart; and we were tired of not being able to enjoy our backyard because our dogs and the surrounding neighbors' dogs would constantly fight at the fence - they could see each other very well with all the spacing on the fence. The fence we chose was a PVC fence in a wood grain color (people really don't realize it's PVC!).
The guys who installed the fence were also very good. We especially appreciated that, knowing we have two dogs AND are surrounded my dogs, they made sure the fence was sealed off at the end of each day. Even when they had already taken down sections, they would put it back and nail it in place to seal any openings. Seems like a small thing, but it was really appreciated.
From quote to finish, Matt was great - friendly, knowledgeable, VERY communicative. When after a week or two we noticed a few spots that needed fixing, he came over to inspect within a few days and had his guys here first thing the next work day to fix everything up.
Best experience with any contractor that we've had - and what a difference the fence makes! It makes our yard look better, more private, and we enjoy being outside now that the dogs aren't constantly going nuts at the fence.
Thank you Matt and Fesco!

Every aspect of the job was handled professionally and thoroughly. The job was well supervised by the project manager, and the foreman and crew were very responsive and diligent in preforming the job and providing an excellent level of service. The crew arrived on the first day and immediately went to work. Every detail of the job was carried out, for example we have dogs so we required that there be no gaps anywhere in the fence and this was accomplished. The materials used were very high quality. The metal posts that were core drilled into the concrete patio and then cemented in are very solid, as is the rest of the posts and panels. The entire fence has a very balanced appearance. The project manager made helpful suggestions regarding fence placement, and came by to check on the job during the 3 days that it took to complete it. At the finish of the job the foreman checked to be sure it was all to our liking. The yard was secured each day after the crew left, and after the job was complete every bit of debris was removed, and the yard was put back into order. They did a really beautiful job and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone, looking for a high quality fence, and professional work force.

which they came and fixed.
This was the last time we saw them.
2. This past winter (winter of 2013-14). We called to complain that part of the fence
was not lined up in one spot and was causing the fence not to close. We called
them. They told us that due to the extreme weather conditions. They told us
when they were in the area they would stop by and look at it. They never did.
My husband fixed the fence.
3. The final insult that is prompting me to write
this review is in Sept 2014 we had the fence stained by another vendor that was
dealing with our deck./fence This was the first time we stained the fence.
Fesco built the fence with nails that rust instead of nail/screw that
withstands weather and stain.
Our new contractor advised us that the nails were going to cause a problem when we
stained the fence. We now have a fence with rust drip marks where
the nails are.
"we use gold galvanized ring shank nails on our wood fences that have a galvanized coating that meets or exceeds industry standards we also offer aluminum nails at a higher cost this was not selected when the fence was installed any workmanship issues we guarantee for 5 years and would be glad to rectify something that wasn't done correctly. one day of every week we devote a crew to perform warranty repairs for free, which include anything from gate adjustments to posts settling and shifting. that's the nature of outdoor work. unfortunately we can't get to every free repair as quickly as we would like. sometimes things "fall through the cracks" and we are sorry if we didn't get to your job in a timely manner. your fence is still under warranty and we would welcome the opportunity to service your fence should the need arise in the future. we have a minimum 5 year warranty on our wood fences. most others in the fence industry give 1 year or less. we've been in business over 40 years by doing quality work and standing behind it. if there are issues we take care of them. that's our creed, "providing quality and service since 1969". give us the opportunity and we'll take care of any workmanship issues"

I had a six foot vinyl privacy fence installed with three gates one ofwhich was a double gate. This crew of three was the sloppiest crew I
have ever seen. They destroyed several areas of my lawn with the power
auger not to mention mixing cement on my driveway that is now
permanently stained with concrete. They used my hose and broke the
handle on my hose carrier and tried to glue it together before I would
notice. A new carrier was purchased but nowhere near the same quality as
my original. I returned it to Home Depot. The language on one worker
was a disgrace. I had 2 small children at home during the install. He
would carry on like nut job whenever a helicopter flew over my home and
was non stop smoking. Which was apparent when I found cigarette butts
all over. The fence is holding up so far but the quality of workmanship
was abominable. The double gate that was installed was rubbing along the
ground when it is opened. Why wasn't this checked before holes are made
to attach hinges? They claim to be installing fences for many years.
What a joke! The latches were put on backwards on two gates. One I
removed myself and attached the correct way. Finishing cap by one gate
was attached with a sheetrock screw. I had them remove and attach cap
correct way. Several caps were not glued down which flew off during
Hurricane Sandy. The gate at the driveway was not level and I had them
remove and level it properly. It still looks horrible. Once the job was
completed I walked around and found scraps all over my yard. I found
drink bottles from workers in the yard. It's just appalling. The white
fence was a total mess. Mud and concrete all over every panel. It rained
a few days during install but I just spent a good chunk of money and
this fence looks 10 years old. They should have brought over a power
washer and cleaned the panels. As I continued to walk around there were
rocks and uneven piles of dirt not only on the interior of the fence but
also on the exterior which is now my neighbors(3 neighbors) yards. The
foreman was the last to leave and I complained to him. He did a rush
cleanup and was on his phone most of the time. I am so disgusted with
this company. I will never ever use them again. I hope this review is
read by someone considering to use Fesco for their installation. DON'T DO IT!!!
"This was a multi day project installed during a rainy period. the ground we were excavating was muddy and created a sloppy work environment. we did the best we could to minimize the mud splatter but it could not be completely prevented. the gates were installed as originally planned and approved on the sketch however the customer wanted to change the swing of one after it was installed which we would have done for him but he did it himself. we don't use sheetrock screws, we use primeguard coated dek screws made for outdoor use. we use these to secure the sections to the posts as an added protection against wind damage. we don't rely on the notched rails to secure the sections to the posts. this system works well as evidenced by the fact that our fences withstood hurricane sandy with no damage other than a few caps being blown off. the foreman on the job was terminated for his unprofessional use of foul language and poor cleanup of the job site. its our policy for the cleanup on multiday jobs to be done at the end of every day, not saved up for the end of the job."
"outdoor projects sometimes take longer than planned and when that's the case there is no additional charge to the customer, we absorb the additional labor costs. we frame our decks using lumber and materials that exceed required building codes. if span charts require a 2x8 joist, we use a 2x10, if posts call for 4x4, we use 6x6 and so on. our decks are built with solid craftsmanship by our own employees with over 5 years experience. we never subcontract out this work we've been doing this since 1969 and pride ourselves on our quality and service."
