I had been with this company for the last 26 years, and knowing that rates go up according the market. But I decided to end my business with this company when I called for service on raising one of my sprinkler heads and received in invoice for $304.85. It turns out that the technicians set the rates and tell the company who much to charge. So when they say, "would you like us to check the system?" Say NO. It is in there interest to find sprinkler heads and mist heads to replace just to pad the invoice. When I asked to speak with Sal an owner and asked if there was anything that could be done with this invoice, he said NO. He feels he is the company with the best service and cheapest prices. I hope he is right. But as of now, I will be looking for a company who is not so deceiving when it comes to a service call. To think that Sal just doesn't appreciate long term customers. Wish him much luck in the future.

1) We started working with D'Agostino in April of 2017. At that time they charged me $87.50 to turn on the sprinklers in Spring. At the end of that season they charged me $92.12 to close the system. Now they charge $130 plus tax to turn on the sprinklers in Spring. To winterize is another $130. 2) In Spring of 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, we were one of the families that either lost their job or got furloughed. Banks were giving you breaks on the mortgages for months, Auto insurances were giving out credits, our lawn maintenance company gave us a break, etc. D'Agositino not only raised their prices during this time, they were not willing to help families that were struggling. 3)This Spring was my second time turning on my sprinklers. I noticed that some of the grass sprinkler heads were leaking. I called D'Agostino to find out how much they would charge to come out. I was told that it would cost $80 something dollars plus the cost to replace. Two guys arrived and we looked at only 8 zones for the grass since I do not use the other zones because the plantings and trees are already established. Eight heads in total were replaced. One nozzle was swapped out with another one 20 feet away. I think he didn't have one in his truck and said it would serve better by just swapping out (meaning he unscrewed it & swapped with another existing one from one of our planting bed). Charged me $25 for that. They charged me $130 instead of the $80 something dollars to come out. Again, he looked at 8 out of my 14 zones. $130 is their current charge to turn on the system and to make all the adjustments. I turned on the system myself and adjusted. I called on 6/21 to dispute the charges. I was told someone would call me back but no one did. I called back today, July 7. They said that their charge to come out is $130 even though I was told different in my original call.

They indicated that I was really out of the area that they covered. They didn't seem to appreciate being here. It was a long way to drive just to do a small service like that. It was perfectly normal. It continued to leak. I was not happy with that. It was a fair price. The quality was not very good since I still had the leak.

It was their busy season and so it took awhile from when I called to find an appointment when they could come but when they were here, they were courteous, prompt and helpful.
In finding the leak, it took a few visits for them to properly identify and fix it however they were pleasant about returning each time.

I had a great experience with D'Agostino Lawn Sprinklers, they came over for my sprinklers and that I found them in Angie's List. They were great, and they explained everything well.

Sal came and gave me two estimates. One just for flower beds and the other for a full system including the front and

back lawns. He made sure that my well system was adequite to handle the job. He did not want to sell me something that would be a problem.
He stands behind his work.

Thye arrived promptly to survey the area and provide a quote.  I accepted the quote but was heading out of town for several weeks and need them to install within a week.  They were very accomodating in their timing.  The installation went without a hitch and they took the time to explain how my system worked.  When I arrived back home one of the heads was leaking and they promplty came back out to adjust.  In the fall they again were very accomodating in schedule the fall shut down of the system.  Overall I was extremely pleased with them and would highly recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

I finally got tired of watering our lawn. I called the company based on the reviews on Angie's list. They gave me a quote which was actually lower than my budget, after 2 days I called to have the job scheduled. I called on Monday, their plumber arrived in the afternoon, the utility companies marked everything by Wednesday and by Friday I already have a sprinkler system. The came early that morning and by noon it was all set up. I loved that they also put in some sprinklers on the other side of the driveway coz some of my plants were just about to belly up from the heat. The plumber accidentally broke the main valve to close off the water and told me I had to pay and extra money to have it fixed. But when I called Sal about it he was very kind enough to just deduct it from the total bill. After the workers left, I called the office so they could send someone to show us how to program it, make a few adjustments on the sprinkler heads so the water will stay on the lawn and not part of the driveway, and fix a small water drip on the pipe outside. Did not have any problems with that, Sal himself came and met my husband although it was a Saturday. I am very satisfied with their work, very satisfied with the product so far and I feel very confident that if a problem or an issue will arise,  they will be there to take care of it. I got a free rain sensor since I mentioned angie's list, free winterization and opening the first season, and 3 yr warranty. Would definitely recommend them and looking forward to a stress free summer!

I was very satisfied with the service provided, the workmen were very professional.   The owner knew exactly how to place the heads on thel  lawn.   I have continued to use his service yearly to shut down the system in the autumn months. In addition,  he has come to our house as needed, to replace several  broken heads

When deciding on installing a sprinkler system, we were concerned that the cost would be prohibitive. We found D'Agostino on Angie's List, contacted them and they came out right away for an estimate. We thought $1500 was reasonable and set a date for the install. They arrived promptly and immediately went to work. Everything went well and I was impressed until the supervisor left. At that point, the workers became noticeably a little sloppy.  The first thing I noticed was a change in the workers demeanor. They started messing around, joking and speaking loudly, and hanging about. Fortunately, I happened to see that they had torn the landscaping fabric we had put under rubber mulch in the swingset area. I wasn't concerned that it had torn because it was inevitable due to the location. However, I was concerned that they wouldn't fix it before putting the rubber mulch back. Sure enough, I saw them putting the mulch back with the torn seam wide open - therefore defeating the purpose of having the fabric! I told the worker that it needed to be fixed properly and while he was clearly annoyed, he must have called the supervisor because the supervisor came back shortly thereafter with landscaping fabric to cover the torn seam completely. Meanwhile, it had started to rain and the supervisor told me they needed to stop work until the rain passed, which was fair enough. However, what I didn't realize was that when they continued on with the work later in the afternoon, the ground would be a muddy mess when they dug the trenches and that there would be no way for the grass to be patched back on top as it was in other areas completed before the rain. Thus, we had criss-cross trench/muddy lines all over the backyard. At the end of they day, they left without telling me they were leaving! I wasn't sure if the project was completed or if they needed to come back because of the rain, etc. I called the supervisor the next morning and he promptly came back and showed me how to use the programmable features, explained his choices as well as what to do if I needed to change them, he was great. A couple of weeks later I called them to come back and adjust some of the heads that were hitting windows and deck. This time a couple of workers were sent out and they were helpful and quick. One of the heads needed replacing and another needed adjusting, which they did to our satisfaction immediately. I also asked about an adjustment that I hadn't had time to look up in the equipment manual and they did it for me and showed me how to do it myself in the future. All in all, we are pleased with the system and with the company. I was a little disappointed with the installing workers but I would definitely recommend this company regardless.
