Northern Firewood first started in 1980 as a tree removal service and two years later we began selling the firewood we had accumulated. Since then our loyal customer base has grown making us one of the largest firewood companies in Central New York. Our unique hand processing system enables us to consistently cut our wood to uniform sizes and split out the rot and debris resulting in a quality product year after year. At our wood yard we stockpile thousands of cords of wood to season ensuring we have it when you need it! In 2000, we became a dealer of earth products including natural and colored mulch, topsoil and driveway stone.
* Premium mixed hardwoods including maple, beech, hickory and oak. * Available from 1.5 to 10 fc split loads, block loads or logs. * We also carry natural and colored mulch, topsoil and driveway stone. * Cash, checks and all major credit cards accepted as well as HEAP. * Delivery area consists primarily of Onondaga and Oswego counties.

"Dear (member name removed), I would appreciate it if you would give us a call as I have no record of a sale of any kind to you in October 2013. Is it possible that you have us confused with another vendor? Please call Angie at 315.668.9663 to discuss this matter further."
"Dear [member name removed], We have been processing, selling & delivering firewood in the area for over 30 years. The gentleman who delivered your wood is the owner & typically goes out of his way to dump where the customer wants it. If he felt the area was too soft for him to dump the wood where you wanted it then its was (in his experienced opinion). As to your complaint that the wood will not burn, We deliver over 5000 face cord each year & in December we delivered over 500 face cord & yours is the only complaint we received... We do process & store the wood outdoors and when you purchase wood so late in the season you will get wood that is wet from the elements. It takes about a week for the wood to warm up enough to burn & that is why we put the flyer on the receipt. May I suggest that you get your wood earlier next season... Management, Northern Firewood"
"Dear customer, My 1st response to your comment about paying two delivery fees is inaccurate as we do not charge delivery fees. Each quantity of firewood has a flat price per face cord and the more you buy the more you save. Secondly, Although we have no control over when our equipment has mechanical failures, it is our practice when they occur to contact any effected customer & get them rescheduled in a timely manner. I no way of proving or disproving if you received such a call, but I can assure you that if we could have gotten your delivery to you any sooner we would have. Office Manager Northern Firewood & Earth Products."
"[removed member name] For over 30 years we have been processing firewood year round & we deliver over 5000 face cord each year. We would not still be in business if we were not delivering what we say we are... The wood you received and paid for is seasoned. We process & store our wood out doors on concrete pads. You must keep in mind that when you order your wood at this late time of year, it is wet from the elements of rain and snow. As the notice that we attached to your receipt mentioned, you must get your wood stacked and under cover to allow it to dry out for a week or so. Also, the colder it gets the longer it takes to re-dry out so it is also helpful to bring some wood indoors for a couple days to allow it to warm up. Please contact our office directly if you have any further comments or questions regarding. Thank you, Angie Rainbow Northern Firewood & Earth Products Inc."
