He was so bad. His name was Carlos Carrera. He was a shady character and he kept changing the name of his business. He would come with unbelievably low prices and the only way you could get the prices was to pay him in advance. Then he would never come back. We were all stupid for falling for that. He gave us written contracts and receipts. He was getting customers for the summer and I even recommended my daughter. Then he took off with all the money. We kept going all around the neighborhood selling his wares and everybody was buying. We couldn't understand how the word didn't get around about how bad he was. He was a con artist. He wanted $150 for all that work and I didn't have all the money when he came so he said to give him half and he would get the other half when he came to do the work. My daughter paid more than that. My neighbor used him and he actually showed up to do her work. He has been doing this for years and years.
