Despite me wanting a deck ASAP, Mike told me he was on other jobs and would do it in stages, to complete it by early July. Weeks went buy with no contact. I tried email, phone, text. He just never replied. 
I tried again in early July, and still he hasn't had the curtesy to say, "I'm going to pass on the job." Or a single word for that matter. Had he done that, this review wouldn't even be here.
It's a real shame, because I thought I found a contractor who was reliable and responsive for once. When he's on the job, he's great, fun to talk to, etc. But communication it's just the pits.
