We hired Lou from Hudson Valley Handyman to wash our windows inside and out. He arrived at the time promised, brought all of the supplies he needed (including a ladder for the higher windows), and worked steadily until the job was done. He was polite, conscientious, and friendly. Best of all our windows are sparkling clean. We plan to hire him in the future for other jobs and would highly recommend him.

I hired him to clean my empty house for a one-time, top to bottom cleaning for our tenants moving in, as I didn't have the time since I have a baby and we were right in the throws of moving to our new house. He was a nice guy. However, as he bragged how he has been doing windows for 30 years, he ruined one of them because he used a razor blade to scrape stuff off the glass scratching the tint. He also removed the air conditioner from another window to clean it and didn't put it back in properly. There were also cobwebs and dust that he missed on the tops of two windows, dirt on top of the shower rail, and I don't think he wiped the bathroom sink at all. He did not clean the oven and only wiped out the upper kitchen cabinets to do me a "favor" for ruining our one window. Basically, I paid $45/hour for six hours of window cleaning and vacuuming. He didn't even mop the floors. I had to do that. I am honestly very disappointed, especially after reading his awesome reviews. I don't get it. What did I do to deserve this horrible experience?

lou, Is currently still working on my home, but i can say he is one of the best workers I have come across. His customer service skills are amazing and thus far his work ethic and timeliness is as well. I will update this review next week when the work is fully completed. But as of now, I am super happy.

Very hard worker, does a really good job, takes pride in his work, worth the money that he charges. Very neat, cleans up after job!

The drain in the downstairs sink was rusted shut and Louis was able to get the part, cut it and replace it. He is very capable of doing different jobs!
