Carmine has once again showed that he has built a team of service people that are great at their job. Jeff was on time, polite, knowledgeable and found and solved the problems in short order. After almost a week of high temperature and high humidity in our house we were exhausted. The Air Conditioning is now working better than ever. Thankyou Gallettair.

The team was on time, covered the floors with a quality protective fabric and worked very hard in very HOT conditions. A difficult task to say the least, but they were able to locate existing but not currently in operation 1st floor duct work. The tech that worked on the unit and electrical outside did some great custom work with the "leader" protection for the supply to the attic. Cleaned up very well after themselves! Very professional from start to finish.

Scheduling an appointment in the middle of summer at the close of business...I thought I would be sweltering for a few days. Nope, Joann got me in first thing the next morning. Had central air installed by GalletAir a year ago and that went so well we had them replace our old leaky boiler this year. One of the biggest reasons for using GalletAir a second time has been the quality of service received. Phone personnel, techs and managers (Mike and Paul) have all been helpful, courteous and professional.

I made an appointment with GallettAir for Mon, July 6, 2020 for a diagnostic of my CAC, installed 2-1/2 years ago by another company. I am impressed by Matt’s good humor, humility, and passionate commitment to his responsibility. Appreciative of the entire experience, personally and professionally, I would highly recommend Matt and GalletAir. I explained the history of my issue to Matt. The original installers had to return twice, once to attach the lines to the two air handlers they had failed to connect, and again to load coolant they had neglected to fill in the three compressors (for subzones). When it came time for the next summer maintenance check, I decided to get a reference for a local independent contractor, who claimed that the compressors were empty of coolant, and charged $1,000 to refill them, and would not check the filter system, because he did not have his own ladder, and did not trust mine (an adjustable multi-position “Gorilla”). This following summer, I got another recommendation, who also claimed that the compressors were empty of coolant, and charged $1,000 to refill them, and further suggested that I run a diagnostic of the lines to check for a “probable” leak. I then contacted GalletAir for a second opinion. Matt spent an hour thoroughly checking the compressors, the returns, the temperature from various vents, and the thermostats. He was patient and attentive, and addressed all my questions in understandable terms. Everything is working as it should. He discouraged me from running a costly and disruptive diagnostic, as the test will require the system to be off for a week, not ideal at the peak of summer, so better to wait until the fall season to reconsider unless there is a breakdown that compels immediate attention. Not all businesses practice such conscientious dutifulness, and instead are quick to turn up problems outside the scope of need in order to increase their profit. When I asked Matt for the bill, he replied that I owed him nothing, as he had “not done anything requiring particular effort”. I insisted that he should be paid for his time, and he still courteously refused to take even a “tip”, asserting that he would only take payment for more substantive service. Matt’s integrity is a reminder that customer care is as much about making you feel valued as providing a valuable skill.

Mike's work was as professional as it can be, inspected the issue at hand with our gas furnace igniter then proceeded to fix it, unit was running again in no time. Thank you, Gallett air.

They did a good job but it seems hard to get them to come back out. We have to wait three weeks to get someone out here.

This company is great!! I recently moved into my new how and have a very old central AC unit which has multiple issues. This companies techinican always come in a timely manner, are very polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a HVAC company who truely cares about the customers and is very reasonably priced.

I've had problems with my central AC for years now, and I've also had many different AC contractors to my property to diagnose the problems. None except Gallett did a tune up that actually made a difference in my cooling system. Matt also gave me some advice on how to better use my current system efficiently, and was honest about the projected life expectancy of older systems such as mine. Price was great, Matt was very friendly and I would definitely call this company again.

great service would use again

This company was recommended to us by several friends who said they were very professional, very knowledgeable and very friendly. We called them and Paul the service manager came over and found the problem immediately and fixed it. I usually do not write reviews but had to write one about Gallett Air. Everything our friends said was absolutely true. They are now our go to company for air conditioning and heating problems.

They did a wonderful and great job.

Wanted to leave a review for our first service contract emergency call. I called GallettAir late Monday night to report we had no heat and they were very responsive, they did say it may be some time as their trucks were spread out on other calls (understandable). The tech called when he was on the way some time later and when he arrived, did a very thorough job troubleshooting our heating system, replaced some parts, etc. VERY professional and friendly. It turned out that there was an issue with our gas pressure and he advised us to call National Grid, and told us what exactly was wrong and made sure National Grid was coming to fix it on their end. He assured us our system was working properly and National Grid should be able to take it from there. (National Grid did come and fix the issue with the gas) The pleasant surprise was the phone call the next day form the GallettAir technician to make sure everything went OK. That's terrific customer service.

Went well, luckily there were no issues like frozen pipes. The crew worked well and efficiently under very trying circumstances. It was extremely cold, the work took place in an unheated basement. There were no surprises, no extras, no additional charges for extra parts. The techs took care to make sure everything worked and everything was returned to normal before they left. An additional plus is that GallettAir backs up their work by covering the first years of the service contract, you have to factor that into the overall costs. A great job, Thanks!

They installed my heat pump years ago and did an amazing job, but this review is for the water heater replacement just completed a few days ago. I called around 12:30 pm when I realized I had no hot water while dressing for a doctor's appointment. I had hot water around 4:30 just hours later! The 3 installers were the best! They were wonderful, respected my property, and highly professional. They performed as a team and finished the job so quickly, I could hardly believe it! I guess I forgot just how hot the hot water should be.....it's REALLY HOT now! Whether it's heat. a/C, hot water, appliance issues now or whatever, I'll be turning to Gallettair for my future needs. For the A/C, I have to mention that quite a few years ago, my husband and I returned from a July vacation during a heatwave to no A/C. We always maintain a service contract with Gallettair and called them. Wow! The repairman showed up around 3 am and we were chilling Just a couple of hours later! There's no better service than that! So when the hot water heater went, they were the only choice I'd ever consider. Carmine and his team are truly the best.....I know very well!

On time, solved problem,replaced part

I was referred to GallettAir by a family friend. The price was in line with other companies that I received quotes from and based on the recommendation I went with them. Once I gave the go ahead a date was immediately set for the install. The guys installed the system in less than one day and were very courteous and neat. As with any new system there will be adjustments that have to be made. I dealt with Paul and every time I called he got right back to me. He even came by the house the same day to make the adjustments, sometimes in the evening.

I have never been treated this well by any contractor. They showed up with everything (five trucks and all the materials) and later on in the afternoon their electrician completed the job. Gallett's mechanics worked like it was their father's home. A week or two after the job was finished (in one day) they sent over a quality control man to check out the system and answer any questions I had. The following year I had one service call about a noise coming out of the compressor. They fixed it no charge. To date that is the only service I have needed.
