They are not always consistent, but do an excellent job most of the time.

This is the 2nd time we've hired Thomas Landscaping - the first was for a drainage issue in our yard and we were very happy with it. Overall, the work they did this time was good, but not great. I felt they were difficult to nail down for scheduling and they seemed to show up and leave without warning several times a day (perhaps they were bouncing between jobs). The crew seemed disinterested in being there and they just didn't seem to be giving it their all - they were slow and stood around a lot just chatting with each other. I also felt that their work seemed unfinished - like it could have been neater and more professional looking. I don't know that we would use them in the future for this kind of garden bed work simply because they just fell short in several areas.
Their pricing is reasonable, but also comparable to other companies we've looked at. We found their selection of plants/shrubs to be very limited compared to other garden centers. Given that we wanted basic, low maintenance plants, this did not deter us from using them. But if you want a huge selection, this is definitely not the garden center for you.
We met with Mr. Thomas at his store to select the plants and decide where to put them on our property. There apparently was some confusion with what we thought we decided versus what he wrote down, because once the project was completed we had a few less plants than we were expecting/asked for and we were missing a small garden bed that we had asked for him to put in. We never went back to him to inquire/complain, so to be fair he did not have a chance to address it. We just really didn't want to deal with this project anymore.

Everything went smoothly with the deliveries. The loads were delivered as planned on two separate dates. Delivered on time, in the proper place on my driveway etc. The material is quality and the quantity I ordered.

They do a good job. They clean everything out there like with the sidewalk and everything. They make sure that we are satisfied. They are very polite and very professional. Their pricing is comparable to others. They are just closer to us. This is the 4th year we've been using them.

All went as planned with one exception. One new bush was planted in the wrong place. I had to leave and upon my return the bush was planted in the incorrect area.

They said they were behind schedule due to an early rain in June but it would take about 4-5 weeks to do my job. They finally got to me the second week of Aug. and went right to work. They disassembled a stone retaining wall and neatly stacked the stones in a secluded area. The landscaping, bushes, and tree were planted in about 2 days and it looks great!!!

The lady who answered the phone was efficient but curt and unfriendly - I felt as if I was bothering her.
They gave the option to collect payment over the phone, which is convenient because I didn't need to worry about missing the delivery and having to reschedule.
They were able to schedule delivery for the next day, which was a Saturday, and the delivery came within the specified time.
The firewood itself was wet. Even after a week indoors sitting over a heater, it still feels damp when burned and sounds like french fries cooking in a pot of oil.

Thomas Landscaping is beyond unprofessional. They installed a sidewalk that every year since has shifted and gotten full of mud during the winter. It also doesnt drain properly and has started growing moss and weeds since day one. Every year I call and am told and quot;we will come fix it soon as the weather clears.and quot; Each year I'm also told a different story on why they think it is happening. And each year I have have to call non stop all summer to get someone out. The first time, they came back, tore up part of the side walk, then left for several weeks leaving me an unusable sidewalk. The following year when the problem wasn't fixed they told me they would be out as soon as winter cleared. They never called and never came the entire year. This year I was told a new idea and new reason and a new fix. After being blown off again all summer I'm now told nothing is wrong with the sidewalk and they aren't fixing it.

DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THOMAS LANDSCAPING. Very unprofessional terrible communication. They also do not stand behind they're work. I actually have voice mail messages from Tony the foreman telling me what he thinks the problem is and that they will come fix it. However, apparently they care nothing for their word or workmanship, because they never come. Save yourself the trouble of losing money and possibly having to to go the BBB or small claims court.

It was prompt. The firewood came when they said it was going to. We would recommend them to friends and family members.

It was a very unique sidewalk. It wasn't anything that was just straight and narrow. They were honest. Their prices were very competitive. They offered more than most people did. They completed the job on time.

We have used them for years for spring and fall clean-ups. They do a very good job. Their people are nice. You can't get anyone better.

Tony came to give an estimate. When we decided to go with them, I personally went out to Thomas to go over the drawing. When I arrived, Tony asked what questions I had, we talked as we stood in the middle of the store (sitting down away from the people would've been nice). He took me outside and showed me the plants he was going to use. He asked me 2-3 times if I was ready to give him the deposit. The job cannot be scheduled until you put 1/2 down. I finally paid the deposit. He said he'd call in a "few days" with the schedule. After 8 days, I called and was told they would come the following week. I called that Monday to ask a question and was told it got "pushed back" a day. That day came and went. We called again and were told it would be "next week". My husband called and asked to have either Tony or Mr. Thomas call us. Neither one ever returned our calls. They finally showed up one day, pulled out the bushes and left. They came back 4 days later and finished the job.

I have purchased Firewood from Thomas Landscape for 3 years and have always been pleased. Quality product, delivered when promised by courteous delivery people. Price is consistent with market rate.

I'm looking into dropping Thomas Landscape because we still have weeds. What I think the problem is, is they're not putting enough product down and not in a timely fashion. I don't think they apply enough fertilizer or weed killer.
