We received a quote which included all material and labor for removal of kitchen wallpaper, painting of kitchen and hallway walls, ceiling and trim. Also included was repair of walls and ceiling, and a new hand rail installed. This crew of 3 was friendly but unorganized, and in our experience their work overall was average at best. Everyday I had to bring to their attention things either missed or just not done right such as areas of paint bleeding through (obviously 1 coated), wallpaper not completed taken off especially under the cupboards and in corners, too much trim on the walls. The main thing that comes to mind is the installation of a new hand rail leading to upstairs hallway/bedrooms. Two days after the job completion, my husband missed top step and fell down the stairs bringing the hand rail with him, the railing was not put in the studs! In addition, their daily clean up was with my vacuum cleaner which no longer works well. And the final bill presented was more than quoted, we were charged extra for patching that was under-estimated even though the quote said "repair of walls and ceiling". Yes they made good for the railing but this should never have happened. Contractors should do work like it's their own home!

Very well, We scheduled it ahead of time and they started as promised and stayed on the job until it was complete.

The wall paper did not come off in one room. He worked on it for 5 straight days to get the walls back in order. He had to do some patching. The painting came out nice. The colors were good. He cleaned up after himself. He seemed to work hard. He was at my house for 7 straight days. I have spoken to other people. His price was good.

I was very impressed with Suhrs Painting and Remodeling. They gave us an estimated cost before the work was done with a detailed breakdown of the bill. The final cost was very close to the estimate, and they also offered a 3 year warranty if for any reason they would need to come back.
