We had a small 1950's bathroom converted into a very modern, and highly functional space. Rob, Dean, Paul and Sam were friendly, professional and highly skilled. They solved several unplanned plumbing and structural problems very effectively while still keeping the integrity of the original space; a special skill that resulted in a wonderful finish! Dean always kept us informed of any changes in schedules or materials before hand so there were never any surprises. We did have a change in the size of a wall in the middle of the project and Rob took care of this with no problems or cost. We did get several estimates and made the perfect choice because the room still wows us every time we use it.

They were professional, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. They worked with me extremely well and went above and beyond.

Suburban Remodeling came highly recommended by some friends who remodeled both bathrooms in their home.  At the first consultation, they listened to how we wanted our home to function and made lots of notes.  They worked with a designer who gave us the layout we used.  The job took exactly 29 calendar days from start to finish.  They showed up on time every day, ready to get right to work.  They worked late a few days to get the project to a good stopping point.  We had regular communication with them, and they were extremely responsive to our feedback.  These men are true artisans and craftsmen.  Yes, they are contractors.  But they take great pride in doing the very best work, operate with integrity, and are completely trustworthy.  There were a few items salvaged from the demolition that we offered to give them.  Their response was that these items were worth money and should stay with the house.  These men go above and beyond being professional.  They became part of our family, and we cannot wait until we save enough money  to have them come back and remodel our bathrooms.  Dean is a perfectionist and has a work ethic that is unlike anything I've encountered with other contractors.  When he says something will be done, and done right, he means it.  They always did what was right for the house, respecting and embracing our desire to maintain the character of our craftsman-style home.  We never want anyone else to work on our house.  We trust this company and look forward to working with them again.  Just a bonus for us:  they loved our dog almost as much as we do!

The Lucas brothers were great to work with on this project.  They put us in touch with a great designer.  The work was started on time and completed on time.  As the worked progressed we requested a couple of changes, they gladly accommodated our request.  At the end of the day they cleaned up and started promptly the next day.  When the job was complete they cleaned the entire work area and it was ready to move back in.

We met Suburban Remodeling at a home show. We chose them over another remodeler because we prefer to work directly with the owners of a company. When we signed their contract, we knew exactly who would be in our home doing the job. Suburban Remodeling arrived when we expected them to, started work immediately and finished on time. Our entire kitchen was remodeled in 12 working days. Ron, Paul, Dale and Lee were wonderful to work with, always perfect gentlemen. They were meticulous about every detail, leaving nothing unfinished. They listened and answered questions and responded to our requests with very few upcharges to accomplish them. They asked us questions along the way. It was fun to come home every night and see the changes that took place that day. Suburban exceeded all our expectations and provided us with a beautiful new kitchen.

They were great at figuring out plumbing, three really nice guys. The only thing is the finishing work. They were in too much of a hurry to leave go on to the next project. If they had done a little bit better with the finishing they would have straight "A's." Other than that they were great. They did some moving of plumbing that I'm not sure everybody else could figure out. They were very easy to work with.

It's difficult on where to start
Did not follow contract (remove sub floors and tub surround)
Old exhaust fan thrown on top of bath vent duct
Curb cap for shower not cut correctly, told they would only try once then it was my problem
Incorrect connectors for under cabinet lighting (shorts and burning)
Floor heating in master bath 1 foot short of toilet
Drywall needed complete rework
They were more concerned on schedule than they were on quality work on our project
Overall, it was the worst experience with a contractor I have ever had

The entire event went extremely well and was done beautifully! Rob, Dean and Paul were extremely friendly, very polite and professional in their work on our kitchen/family room renovation. They were very open to any thoughts or concerns which came up and would immediately address them using their expertise. If any situations occured,such as the plumbing in the removed soffit, they would address it immediately as to the proper options along with the possible added cost. Both my husband and I were extremely impressed by their skilled craftmanship as we were in 2005 when Suburban remodeled our upstairs bathroom and also did an awesome job! Rob told us before the project was started that it would be about 5 days before all was completed for them and that is exactly correct. They arrived promptly in the morning and we were told the time that they would arrive prior to the start up and they all worked right through till the late afternoon. Each day they would clean up any mess which pleased me immensely.

They were very good, but they were a little bit pricey. I am sure they would do a good job, but I liked someone other better. They were prompt. They got right back to me. I thought they were extremely nice people.

From demolition down to the studs - including sub floor to completely
new kitchen took eight days - including a day off. The workers pretty
much spared the rest of my house from dirt and cleaned up every day. I
had a usable kitchen in a week, and the there was some finish work.
These guys are not cheap, but they are worth it. One thing to make sure
of is who does the painting - them or you.

Everything was top-notch. They cleaned up after themselves each day and they were neat and conscientious about how they did things.

The guys were great. It only took two weeks. They were neat during the whole process. At no time did we feel inconvenienced. We left them alone in the house and they locked up when they left. They offered great recommendations and were respectful of the architecture of the house. They understood the importance of keeping the integrity of an older home and made sure that simple things like rounded corners (instead of right-angle corners) were highlighted and not hidden by the cabinets. Our dogs were locked out of the kitchen and back yard (since that's where the guys sawed and such) but the guys made sure that the dogs were let out for potty breaks when they took one.
Their price was in the middle range from all our quotes, and we could tell from the way they spoke about the job that they love doing this work.
We look forward to having them come back to work on bathrooms.

Suburban Remodeling started on the date they had said they would and finished on time. They cleaned up the work site each day. They delivered all the work that was promised. They discussed any upgrades and left the decision to us.We were very pleased with the quality of the work, the professionalism and the commitment to excellence.

This was our first time using Suburban Remodeling. They had our entire kitchen done and complete in a week. No mess that disrupted my life. The job was wonderful.

We have hired Suburban Remodeling 3 or 4 times. The work they do is always excellent. The windows look and work great, and I would recommend them to anyone.

You do have to schedule with Suburban Remodeling in advance due to high volume of business. Usually their work is out 6-8 weeks. Once they get the job started they are very quick to get the job done.

Suburban Remodeling did an amazing job. All of the work was done on time and on budget. The price was very good and most was at cost. His workmanship was just beautiful. I am extremely happy with the turnout.
